Service bulletins for the 2023 BMW S 1000 RR
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| MC110124 | 2024-05-31. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Coolant residue found on the oil sump. And/or Coolant level in the expansion tank is too low. It has been found that the oil/coolant pumps are often replaced without there being an actual leak. Due to the design these pumps can drip in small quantities. |
| MC110322 | 2023-10-01. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. During the production of the intake camshaft there was a change in the coolant used to prevent localized overheating of parts of the camshaft. Because of this, certain parts of the camshaft may have a changed surface hardness that can result in increased wear of the rocker arms and camshaft over time. |
