B8402212021-08-09. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; COMMUNICATION:MANUFACTURER TELEMATICS; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. The discontinuation of 3G cellular communication for Combox, TCB 3G and ATM 3G (Telematics ControlModule) can no longer be supported by the cellular network provider starting February 2022. The decision to phase out 3G network technology was made at the discretion of the respective cellular carriers and lies beyond the control of BMW. Due to the phase-out, BMW Assist and ConnectedDrive services will no longer be supported after this date.

BMW AG has issued a Delivery Stop (effective June 9, 2021) on certain Model Year 2021 BMW vehicles that were produced between May 7, 2021 and May 21, 2021. The Receiver Audio Module (RAM) will need to be added to the affected vehicles

B6405212021-08-09. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM:REFRIGERANT HOSES AND FITTINGS; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. A rattling noise is heard in the vehicle interior when the air conditioning is activated.
B6403212021-08-09. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; EQUIPMENT; STRUCTURE:INTERIOR PANELS:DASHBOARD. After replacing the microfilter during a previous service, the customer notices that the ventilation system airflow rate is noticeably less. This leads to perceived lower cooling power. The customer may also notice that external odors enter the vehicle.
B6202212021-08-09. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. The total electrically driven miles are lost/reset after the vehicle is programmed. This does not affect the total vehicle odometer reading.

Check control message can be verified by checking key reader information or performing the Check control message history service function.
B1101202021-08-09. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:OIL/LUBRICATION:FILTER/SCREEN. On rare occasions during an engine oil service, the BMW Original (Genuine) engine oil filter insert is either difficult to remove or breaks apart in the oil filter housing.
