Service bulletins for the 2014 Audi Q7

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

A0115312033806-72018-02-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 80 number 14-07 dated August 11, 2014. The MIL is on. Climate system heating performance is insufficient. Coolant level warning is on. Engine temperature is elevated. ?Limp Home? mode is active. Faults may be stored in the transmission control module. Coolant loss is found from one or more control valves: N82, N509, or N488. Coolant may have migrated into the wiring harness through the connector and into various control units. Climate system heating performance is insufficient due to coolant loss as a result of coolant migration in the electrical harness, faults in 08-Heating and Air Conditioning Electronics that result from coolant migration in the electrical harness, or a faulty N82 control valve.

A011465 2035519-2017-12-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 14-58 dated January 14, 2014. The MIL is on. DTCs are stored in the ECM. Drivability is not affected. The leak detection pump (LDP) is a vacuum-driven, ECM-controlled, diaphragm pump. In order for the LDP to operate, the engine must be running and vacuum must be applied to the vacuum switch on the LDP. The LDP pressurizes the EVAP system and monitors any pressure drop within a specified amount of time in order to detect a leak. DTC P0456 or DTC P0442 can be stored due to static or sporadic air leaks in the EVAP system or static or sporadic air leaks in the LDP.
A001349 2033576-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Although the correct amount of oil was added to the engine during an oil change service, a check of the oil level shows that the oil level is not okay. When an unapproved aftermarket speed-filling device is used to add oil to the engine, the increased oil flow rate may force oil into the intake manifold or combustion chamber, creating the potential for engine damage.
A191453 2039018-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. A small amount of dry or crusted coolant is seen on the coolant pump housing. The coolant level warning is not on. A minor coolant leak is possible during the break-in phase of the coolant seal on the coolant pump. The dry coolant marks are normal.
A171453 2038129-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 17 number 14-50 dated August 15, 2014. A check with the engine oil service dipstick T40178 is necessary, but the adjustment values for the dipstick are not available in the Elsa repair manual. Because of a system change, the adjustment values for the service dipstick T40178 were removed from the repair manual.
A011498 2038166-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. The engine warning light is on after engine replacement. The engine is not running roughly. However, fault codes are stored in the engine control module (ECM). The fault codes occur at light load, between 8% and 14% accelerator pedal position. The programmed values for the misfire adaption are not automatically reset when the memory is deleted. The adaption must be reset after the engine is installed.
Dealer Letter -2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. This communication is to inform you of upcoming Update 24Z6. On Audi vehicles with a 3.0L TFSI engine produced during a certain period, it is possible that the membrane on the vacuum actuator for the intake manifold flaps may tear. As a result, the intake manifold flaps do not function and the engine indicator light turns on. Install new manifold actuators.

A011314 2033919-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ENGINE. MIL on. DTCs are stored in the engine control module. There may be slight power reduction at high RPMs. One of the vacuum actuators on intake runner bank 1 or bank 2 is defective.
A011313 2034359-2017-12-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE. MIL on. DTC P20E9 is stored in the engine control module (ECM). In vehicles produced during a certain period, the AdBlue filter seal within the level sensor module may have been damaged during the assembly process. This damaged seal can allow unfiltered AdBlue to be sucked into the delivery system, subsequently damaging the pressure sensor and reducing agent pump V437.
