Service bulletins for the 2012 Audi A7
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.
1305 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

| 01138620336301 | 2022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Because there are a number of different misfire faults (unrelated to ignition coil operation) that could cause the MIL to illuminate, proper Guided Fault Finding (GFF) misfire diagnosis must be followed before any ignition coils are replaced. |
|---|---|
| 01136620314583 | 2022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV). Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes. |
| 01130720293406 | 2022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. The faults listed above are caused by an incorrect software setting and can occur under certain driving conditions. In some scenarios, such as extended idling or heavy stop-and-go traffic, a slight misinterpretation of the data can occur and the MIL may be activated. |
| 01125920277326 | 2022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Software update needed. |
| 01125820314581 | 2022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Under extreme driving conditions, such as a driving profile of mainly short distance (stop and go) driving high crankcase pressure can lead to the above described DTC codes. By changing the crankcase pressure valve to a lower operating pressure this condition can be improved and eliminate the mentioned possible DTC codes. Along with the crankcase pressure being lowered, a new ECM software level is required to compensate for new crankcase pressure. |
| 00147020392061 | 2022-10-31. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. High quality media files (video and sound) are now integrated into technical service bulletins on a case-by-case basis. Media files can now be viewed on any smartphone or tablet. |
| 01145220293407 | 2022-09-26. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. The faults listed above are caused by an incorrect software setting and can occur under certain driving conditions. In some scenarios, such as extended idling or heavy stop-and-go traffic, a slight misinterpretation of the data can occur and the MIL may be activated. |
| 01145120305808 | 2022-09-26. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:ANTI-THEFT:IMMOBILIZER/PROXIMITY:KEY/SENDER. The remote key being used is transmitting incomplete immobilizer information to the vehicle, resulting in the condition. |
| 01139720305806 | 2022-09-26. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:ANTI-THEFT:IMMOBILIZER/PROXIMITY:KEY/SENDER. The customer complains that the vehicle sporadically cannot be started. The remote key being used is transmitting incomplete immobilizer information to the vehicle; resulting in the condition. |
| 01139420305805 | 2022-09-26. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:ANTI-THEFT:IMMOBILIZER/PROXIMITY:KEY/SENDER. The remote key being used is transmitting incomplete immobilizer information to the vehicle; resulting in the condition. |
| 01139020337671 | 2022-09-26. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. 01 MIL on (DTC P1196/P1197/P0135, heater circuit fault lambda sensor) - Repair Authorization |

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE:SOFTWARE; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Transmission warning may appear in instrument cluster. After ignition cycle, the warning message is no longer present. The fault occurs with ATF temperature below 60o C. Check for this temperature range in the extended environmental conditions of the diagnosis protocol. This TSB only applies if the ATF level is correct and there are no leaks. |

This TSB only applies if the ATF level is correct and there are no leaks. |
| 37 13 09 2028715 | 2022-05-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:INTERNAL:GEARS. After a mechatronics, torque converter, or complete gearbox replacement, the clutches must be adapted to the new component. This requires a gradual move of the clutch linings toward the optimal operating points in the most diverse load conditions. As a result, sporadic driving power disruptions lasting for less than a second or reduced shift comfort are possible over the first 500 miles. This is normal, and these issues will decrease over time. The issues can also occur if the adaptation values of the gearbox were deleted. |
