| A911263 2021151- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 11 ? 83 dated April 15, 2011. The customer may report that the illumination of the dash insert, the air conditioning control panel or the inside light flickers when briefly pressing the accelerator in P or N or when shifting down while driving downhill. Only vehicles with PR number 8GH may be affected. When high electricity consumers are switched off and the battery is fully charged, the energy generated by the alternator is sometimes too great for the power system to absorb. This may lead to briefly increased voltage, and the lights mentioned above may briefly flicker. This characteristic is caused by the alternator design and is a normal condition of the vehicle. |
| A941290 2030956- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 94 number 12 ? 88 dated September 25, 2012. The turn signal indicator lens is inoperative without any damage from outside influence. Cracks have formed in the lens and as a result condensation can be seen behind the lens. The turn signal lens can crack due to the high amount of tension in the side mirror housing. The tension is due to improper installation of the mirror at the factory and is not a defect in the mirror housing. Replacing the mirror housing will not affect this condition. |
| A941292 2012749- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 94 number 11-52 dated October 11, 2011. Condensation is visible on the inside of the headlight, taillight, fog light, side marker light, front turn signal, daytime running lights, or third brake light lens. Damp air settles on the inside of a cold lens, which creates condensation. The headlight circulation system allows air from the outside to flow through the headlights. This open waterprotected ventilation system (needed for pressure compensation) creates different climate zones in the headlight: very warm areas, where the lens is warmed up by the light, and relatively cool areas, where the lens is cooled own by the air flow. Considerable differences in humidity and temperature between the inside and the outside of the headlights, even while driving, can lead to condensation. This is especially true in cold and wet weather, but it can also happen after a car wash, after steam cleaning the engine or the front end, with overnight temperature changes, etc. This phenomenon is more visible on lenses made of clear glass than on lenses with patterns. The moisture does not affect the headlight function (light performance) and does not lead to corrosion or other damage to headlight parts. |
| A451206 2031989- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS; EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS:SWITCH. After replacing the ABS control unit, the new control unit stores DTC 01044 (Control Unit Incorrectly Coded). No warning light is on and the brake electronics work correctly. Due to a supersession of parts, only ABS/ESP hydraulic control units prepared for vehicles equipped with the start-stop feature are supplied as replacement parts. Once installed, the new unit stores DTC 01044 (Control Unit Incorrectly Coded) because it does not receive a response on the data bus when checking for the start-stop feature. The missing response results in the DTC entry. Within the scenario described in the Condition section of this TSB, the missing start-stop response is the only reason for this DTC. In all other respects the coding of the ABS/ESP control unit matches the vehicle data. The entry does not affect the function of the brake electronics and no warning appears in the instrument cluster. There are no effects on performance or safety. |
| A571281 2020472- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 57 number 10-38 dated December 1, 2010. One or more door handle touch sensors cannot be used to unlock the vehicle doors. Through diagnosis it has been determined that a door handle touch sensor must be replaced. Otherwise, the vehicle locks function normally, such as when using the remote key or the interior lock switch. It is possible incompatible door handle touch sensors are installed. This could be due to either the door handle touch sensors or the Central Comfort System control unit J393 (address word 46) having been replaced previously. |
| A901238 2032113- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. The customer may state that the outside ambient temperature display is incorrect. To achieve a smoothening effect of the displayed outside ambient temperature, the value shown does not instantaneously follow the temperature sensor measurement. The display will not change faster than 4° F (2° C) per minute. This concept applies to both falling and rising temperatures. A programming strategy is also implemented to avoid incorrect readings on a parked vehicle, due to the temperature sensor being affected by outside influences such as radiant heat from the engine bay, elevated road surface temperatures, etc. |
| A961485 2027416- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 96 number 13-61 dated May 28, 2013. The sunglass holder in the dome light assembly will not latch closed. The sunglass holder spring latch mechanism may have been damaged during the assembly procedure. |
| A911450 2018187- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:RADIO/TAPE DECK/CD ETC.. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 13-02 dated August 30, 2013. Customer may report that cracking, grinding, rattling, humming, whining, or similar interference is coming from one or more speakers. Parts of the speakers (such as the brackets, cables, or covers) or parts of the interior fittings (such as door covers, rear shelf, facings, or covers) can vibrate at certain frequencies, causing noises. The radio tuner or other control modules may be affected by electromagnetic interference from aftermarket electronic devices. |
| A571402 2022032- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 57 number 13-97 dated October 29, 2013. The customer inquires about the operation of the vehicle locking, and may suggest that the vehicle ?locked itself?. The lock command history is stored in the convenience system control module (J393). |

| A401442 2035854- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 40 number 14-39 dated February 13, 2014. A rattling or knocking noise is heard when the car is driven over bumps or uneven road surfaces. This noise is heard after the car has been driven for a while and is warmed up, and when the temperature outside is warm. This condition can be duplicated if the brakes are applied while the car is being driven over bumpy roads. This condition is a comfort concern. Vehicle handling is not affected. This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with 75mm hydro-bushings. This bulletin does not apply to vehicles equipped with 65mm bushings. High ambient temperatures at the hydraulic guide links cause the noise. |
| A401441 2018194- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION:FRONT:SHOCK ABSORBER; SUSPENSION:REAR:SHOCK ABSORBER. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 40 number 13-34 dated September 23, 2013. Oil appears on one or several shock absorbers. |

Squeaking noises are heard when the steering wheel is turned or maneuvered. The noises may be more prevalent in wet weather. The folds of the outer rubber boots on the front axle shafts may come in contact with each other when the steering wheel is turned, causing squeaking noises. These noises are more likely to occur when the vehicle is new. The volume and occurrence of the noise will dissipate after a short break-in period. |
| A011483 2027306- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, OTHER:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:PRESSURE RELIEF DEVICES. | A741419 2036572- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. SEATS. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 74 number 14-18 dated February 26, 2014. The panel on the back of the front seat is warped or dented. The headrest on the rear seatback may also be damaged. The damaged is caused when the headrest of the rear seat backrest comes in contact with the back of the front seat. This occurs when the rear seat is folded down with the headrests installed, and the front seat is moved back far enough to make contact with the rear seat headrest. |
| A641433 2029714- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 64 number 12-22 dated July 5, 2012. After one or both of the front door control units (J386/J387) is replaced, one or both of the rear door control units (J3888/J389) cannot be coded or parameterized via an SVM specified vs. actual comparison (spec/actual). The parameter data in the software coding container has changed for the front and rear door control units. As a result, an SVM code is required to update the parameter data for any replacement control unit. Simply running an SVM spec/actual will not code nor update the parameter data in the new replacement control unit. A hardware change suggestion will be provided when an SVM spec/actual is executed. An additional hardware replacement is not required. |
| A441450 2022563- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION; STEERING: STEERING WHEEL/HANDLE BAR. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 44 number 14-49 dated April 17, 2014. Customer feels vibration in the seat, vehicle floor, footwell, pedals, or steering wheel. This condition does not lead to any handling concerns or loss of vehicle control. The customer feels the vibration while driving at highway speeds from 55 ? 80 mph (88 ? 128 km/h). This bulletin is not applicable if this vehicle has a Repair Authorization on this topic. If an applicable Repair Authorization is not followed, the claim will not be paid. The vibrations felt by the customer could be a result of the harmonic vibrations caused by the radial force variation (RFV) of the tires or an imbalance of the wheel and tire assembly. |
| A391414 2028902- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 39 number 12-12 dated June 12, 2012. A squealing, howling, or whistling noise may be heard coming from under the vehicle. The condition is typically noticed when the vehicle is cold and is moving at speeds of 5 - 60 mph. The noise is from the intermediate bearing of the propeller shaft. |
