Over-the-air update OBCC-AS.AU MachE
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 55194 | 2026-09-30. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2024 Mustang Mach-E, 2025-2026 Navigator and 2024 F-150 vehicles may exhibit inoperative welcome/approach detection lights. This may be due to the body control module (BCM) software. To correct the condition, download and run the "BCM - Programmable Module Installation (PMI)" application using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. If the condition persists after PMI, refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 417-01 for normal diagnostics and repair as necessary outside of this article. For claiming, use causal part 15604 and labor operations 12651D and BCM. |
| TSB 26-2421 | 2026-09-21. Service bulletin. This bulletin updates 25-2622. Reason for update: * Update the Service Procedure to: - Remove Step related connecting a battery charger - Add Step 7 and Step 29 along with Figure 4 to include mass damper remove and install. * Update the Parts list: - Updated to include rear electric drive assembly studded bolts and nuts to secure the mass damper. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit at least one of the following conditions: * Stuck in park * "Service Vehicle Soon" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) * Illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P07E6:71 stored in the secondary on-board diagnostic control module C (SOBDMC) This may be due to high ground resistance of the park pawl motor. |

| SSM 55080 | 2026-08-20. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2023 Mustang Mach-E vehicles built on or before 25-Jun-2023, 2022-2025 E-Transit and 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles may experience a high voltage battery stop charging condition when using a direct current (DC) fast charger level 3 with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0EEE:27 and P2E53:27 stored in the on-board diagnostic control module A (SOBDM). This may be due to the SOBDM software. Replacement of the charge port will not resolve this concern. Inform customers that their vehicles can still be charged using a level 1 or level 2 alternating current (AC) charger. Engineering is currently working on a software solution expected in Q3 2026. Schedule an appointment with the customer when the repair becomes available. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information. |
| SSM 54995 | 2026-07-29. Service bulletin. Some 2023-2026 Mustang Mach-E vehicles equipped with a lithium iron/ion phosphate (LFP) standard range battery (minor feature code HTHAH) may exhibit a battery energy control module (BECM) state of health reading that over-estimates the actual high voltage battery state of health after a BECM replacement directed by the Workshop Manual (WSM). This may be due to the software in the BECM. To correct this condition, download and run the "BECM-High Voltage Battery Capacity Relearn" application using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 10B687 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4. The engineering team is currently working on a permanent software solution which is expected to be available in Q4 of 2026. If a vehicle exhibits this concern, submit a Global Concern Report (GCR). To submit a report, click on the "Submit Global Concern Report (GCR)" link at the upper right of the Professional Technician System (PTS) Vehicle ID screen (vehicle identification number ÝVIN¨ required) and fill out the form. Do not use the "Report A Problem" link to submit a report for |
| SSM 55031 | 2026-07-28. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2026 Ford/Lincoln vehicles may exhibit various symptoms including but not limited to the auto start/stop system not operating as intended with a "Check Charging System" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) while the charging system is operating properly with no charging related diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored. This may be due to someone using an aftermarket programmer to change the body control module (BCM) configuration to disable the auto start/stop system or perform other unsupported programming modifications. To correct this condition on F-150 and Bronco vehicles, download and run the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) application titled "BCM-Charging System Configuration Correction". Running this application will determine if the BCM configuration was modified by the customer and if so, provide the option to return the configuration back to factory settings. For other vehicle models exhibiting concerns related to unsupported aftermarket BCM programming, submit a Technical Support Request (TSR) requesting support to revert the BCM configuration |
| SSM 55028 | 2026-07-28. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may exhibit an "Updating SYNC" message on the vehicle center display screen after an over the air (OTA) update. The message can be cleared from the center display screen and SYNC can be used normally, but it will re-appear at every subsequent ignition cycle. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a software update solution for this condition to be delivered OTA expected in late Q3 2026. Software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicles settings. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information. |
