SSM 524762024-05-03. Service bulletin. All accessory stick-on keyless entry keypads come with a wallet card containing the master code. If the accessory keypad was factory installed, this card will be placed in the glove box and should be handed to the vehicles owner during initial delivery. Unlike the integrated (wired) factory keypad, the accessory keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is lost, follow these steps to recover the code. Dealer Key Code access is granted through the Dealer Program Enrollment System (DPES); dealership management can authorize users. The authorized user must go to FMCDealer.com > Parts and Service > Parts Product Line Information > Keys/Entry Devices > Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the master code for the accessory keypad.

SSM 517622023-07-03. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2023 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may exhibit the navigation feature in the center display screen only displaying imperial units and not being able to change to metric. This may be due to the software level of the SYNC module (APIM). This issue does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition and will be released via Ford Power-Up software updates delivered over-the-air (OTA) expected in September 2023. Software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicles settings. Schedule a service visit for customers who have disabled vehicle connectivity or who report that they did not receive the update in September 2023. Monitor OASIS for additional information.
SSM 517602023-07-03. Service bulletin. Some 2022-2023 Transit vehicles, excluding cutaway and chassis cab body vehicles, equipped with a rear-view camera level 2 system only and 12 inch center display screen, may exhibit a lack of active or fixed guidelines after rear view camera replacement. Vehicles may also exhibit a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) C1001:55 stored in the SYNC module (APIM). This may be due to the APIM requiring the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) to recognize the new rear-view camera. To restore the active or fixed guidelines, download and run the APIM - Local Interconnect Network (LIN) New Module Initialization application in Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) when replacing the rear-view camera.
SSM 516872023-06-16. Service bulletin. TSB 22-2428 is missing some labor operations. For any missing labor operations, claim available new model labor operations or m-time. Refer to this article on the repair order. When replacing the CDF cylinder, the current TSB does not require a complete transmission overhaul or cooler and converter flushing. Ford is currently reviewing the TSB. Monitor OASIS for updates.

SSM 516462023-05-31. Service bulletin. Some 2022-2023 Transit/E-Transit vehicles built on or before 05-May-2023 may experience an inaccurate air discharge temperature when the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) is operating in auto or manual mode and the temperature set to 60°F (15.5°C) or above. During this condition, the system commands full or mostly heat and the air discharge temperature will only reduce in the LO setting. This may be due to calibration in the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) module. To correct this condition, reprogram the HVAC module using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 19980 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
SSM 514492023-04-05. Service bulletin. Some 2020-2023 Ford and Lincoln SYNC3 equipped vehicles may experience an inaccurate notification in the FordPass®/LincolnWay® app indicating Vehicle Has Entered Deep Sleep Mode. Vehicle Has Entered Deep Sleep Mode message is expected if the vehicle has not been started for 14 consecutive days, battery voltage is at/below 9.5 volts or the body control module (BCM) 12 volt battery state of charge (SoC) drops below 50%. If the vehicle is going into deep sleep outside these conditions, this may be due to the telematics control unit (TCU) software. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to update the TCU to the latest software. For claiming, use causal part 14G229 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
SSM 512532023-01-05. Service bulletin. Some 2022 Transit vehicles that are not equipped with a telematics control unit (TCU) module and built on or before 28-Mar-2022 may exhibit a no crank/no start condition due to a discharged battery. If no parasitic draw is found during normal diagnostics, run the GWM - Gateway Module A (GWM) Configuration application using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool to correct the condition. For claiming, use causal part 14F642 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
