Service bulletin 23H05
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SSM 51822 | 2023-08-11. Service bulletin. Some 2023 F150 hybrid vehicles may exhibit an intermittent no start and Stop Safely Now message displayed in the instrument panel cluster and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) U0293 and/or P1A43 in the BECM or in connected vehicle data. A Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software concern may be triggering the no start condition. Replacement or reprogramming of the BECM or PCM is not recommended for this condition at this time. This does not affect vehicle durability and no additional diagnosis or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that the vehicle will start after leaving it off temporarily. Engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q4 2023. Monitor OASIS for additional information. |
| SSM 51805 | 2023-07-25. Service bulletin. Some 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles may exhibit This Trip mileage not resetting after a key cycle. This may be due to the software in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). To correct the condition, reprogram the IPC to the latest software level using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 10849 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual. |
| SSM 51757 | 2023-07-03. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2023 F-150 Tremor vehicles built on or before 18-May-2023 may experience the instrument panel cluster (IPC) goes blank or reboots after attempting to access Trailer Tire Info in the Towing menu. Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a charging system fault message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) after water fording in muddy water. This may be due to low voltage at the PSCM. Power steering assist will be restored when sufficient voltage is supplied. To clear the DTCs using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS), select and run the PSCM - Reset the Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) application.
