Service bulletin TSB 23-2006

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

TSB 22-23922023-04-04. Service bulletin. Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a charging system fault message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) after water fording in muddy water. This may be the result of mud accumulation inside the generator causing it to fail. To resolve the concern, follow the Service Procedure to replace the generator and install a revised generator shield onto the vehicle.
TSB 21-23542021-11-02. Service bulletin. Some 2021 Bronco vehicles built on or before 23-Aug-2021 may experience a charging system fault message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) and diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) U012D, U0284 and/or U0285 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This may be due to water intrusion in the active grille shutter connector. SSM 502102021-10-29. Service bulletin. Some 2021 Bronco vehicles built on or before 14-Sep-2021 may experience a loss of power when driving with various illuminated warning indicators displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may be due to an improper seating of the wiring harness push pins to the driveshaft loop which can cause an interference condition between the rear driveshaft and the 14405 harness near the C2370/C350 connector. If suspected, inspect the harness and connector for damage and repair as necessary. Once inspected and/or repaired fully, seat the harness push pins to the driveshaft loop.
