Service bulletin ITB14044
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| ITB12026F | 2021-05-10. Service bulletin. IF YOU CONFIRM: An APPLIED VEHICLE has the MIL ON with DTC P0106 (Manifold Absolute Pressure [MAP] circuit range/performance) stored in the ECM. ACTION: 1. Refer to step 6 in the SERVICE PROCEDURE to confirm this bulletin applies to the vehicle you are working on. 2. If this bulletin applies, reprogram the ECM with CONSULT-III plus ONLY. See this bulletin for further detail. |
| ITB15018A | 2021-05-10. Service bulletin. IF YOU CONFIRM: "Brake Judder" during braking, especially when braking at highway speeds. Symptoms of "brake judder": - steering wheel shake - body vibration - brake pedal pulsation IMPORTANT NOTES: If any symptom above occurs when cruising or coasting (not braking), it is not "Brake Judder" and may be tire/wheel related. DO NOT CONFUSE "Brake Judder" with the rapid consistent-speed pedal pulsation that may be felt and only occurs when ABS is activated during hard braking or on slippery road surfaces. ACTION: 1. Inspect the front brake rotors to determine if "machining" ("turning") is possible or if replacement is necessary. 2. Replace both pad pins in both front 4-piston calipers (see PARTS INFORMATION). 3. Replace the front brake pads (see PARTS INFORMATION). See this bulletin for further detail. |
| ITB14059A | 2021-05-10. Service bulletin. IF YOU CONFIRM All "hands free" functions of the Intelligent Key (I-Key) do not work. For example, the doors will not lock or unlock when pressing either front door request switch. NOTE: - The issue of all I-Key "hands free" functions not working may occur intermittently or all the time. - The message "No Key Detected" or similar may show on the Vehicle Information Display (located in the combination meter). - All I-Key remote button functions (door lock/unlock, etc.) WILL work normally when all I-Key "hands free" functions are NOT working. ACTION 1. Inspect the I-Key?s battery on its negative contact side. 2. If excessive scratching is found, replace the battery. 3. Verify all I-Key functions (both "hands free" and remote) work properly after battery replacement. NOTE: Do NOT replace the BCM, I-Key, or other parts for the issue described under IF YOU CONFIRM, if it should occur. See this bulletin for further detail. |
| ITB13039A | 2021-05-10. Service bulletin. SERVICE INFORMATION This bulletin has compiled Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) and Low Tire Pressure Warning System (LTPWS) information for: - Basic diagnosing of TPMS/LTPWS systems - Radio frequency interference causing a "No Data" (C1708, C1709, C1710, C1711) condition - Sensor leaks - Moving TPMS/LTPWS wheel assemblies from one vehicle to another and TPMS/LTPWS sensor registration - Air pressure changes with altitude and ambient temperatures - Aftermarket tire sealers - Aftermarket wheels - Inflating/deflating tires with TPMS/LTPWS sensors See this bulletin for further detail. |
| ITB15025 | 2021-05-10. Service bulletin. SERVICE INFORMATION When servicing run flat tires or low profile tires: - Special equipment and procedures are required to avoid damage. - Specifically, Tire Pressure Monitor transmitters (TPMS sensors) can be damaged when improperly dismounting and mounting tires. - TPMS sensors becoming damaged during mounting or dismounting tires are not covered under warranty. - To avoid such damage, ensure that the tire changer being used and the operator of the tire changer are capable of servicing run flat and low profile tires. - Operator?s manuals for such tire changers must be followed. See this bulletin for further detail. |
| ITB13005B | 2021-05-10. Service bulletin. IF YOU CONFIRM: The clutch pedal on an applied vehicle does not return to its normal (rested) position after being depressed to the floor OR the customer states the clutch pedal on an applied vehicle does not return to its normal (rested) position after being depressed to the floor AND there are no leaks in the clutch hydraulic system. ACTION: Flush (remove) ALL existing clutch hydraulic system fluid, and refill with GT-R R35 Special Brake Fluid (see PARTS INFORMATION). - Use the SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin for proper flush and refill procedure. See this bulletin for further detail. |
| ITB14026 | 2021-05-10. Service bulletin. IF YOU CONFIRM When initially applying the brakes: * The brakes are too sensitive and may unexpectedly grab with a lower than normal pedal pressure. AND * Only occurs at ambient temperatures below 40°F (4°C). NOTE: This Service Procedure will not change or affect any braking sensitivity above 40°F (4°C). ACTION 1. Bleed the brake hydraulic system. 2. Reprogram the Brake Controller. 3. Erase all DTCs present. Please see this bulletin for further details. |
| ITB00024F | 2021-05-10. Service bulletin. Brake Noise: A squeak, squeal, clunk, or groan that occurs when the brakes are applied or released. b. Brake Judder: A vibration that can be felt in the vehicle, steering wheel, or brake pedal when the brakes are applied. c. Pedal Feel: The effort needed to operate the brakes is too high or too low. SERVICE PROCEDURE 1. Verify the condition by road testing the vehicle with the customer. 2. Determine the specific brake issue based on the description in the Service Information above. 3. Follow the appropriate repair procedure(s), listed on the following pages, for your specific issue. See this bulletin for further details. |
| ITB04038A | 2021-05-10. Service bulletin. If YOU CONFIRM: A vehicle needs to have the brake rotors resurfaced (front or rear). ACTION: Use the ProCut PFM Series on-car brake lathe to perform brake rotor resurfacing and follow the tips listed in this bulletin. - The ProCut PFM Series brake lathe has been chosen as the approved tool for rotor resurfacing. - The ProCut PFM Series brake lathe can be ordered from TECH-MATE at 1-800-662-2001. - ProCut technical support or service can be obtained by calling 1-800-543-6618. NOTE: Brake rotors may need to be resurfaced during routine brake repair or for brake "judder" incidents. - Brake judder: A brake pedal pulsation and/or steering wheel shimmy when braking that occurs when there is too much thickness variation of the brake rotors (see ITB00-024). See this bulletin for further detail. |
