Cam Phasers, Oil Control Valve For Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) issues related to 2012-2017 3.6L Pentastar engines, please note that there is a new diagnostic procedure available in DealerCONNECT for P-codes in relationship to cam phasers. Please use this new information for trouble shooting of cam phasers and oil control valves for MIL on issues.
55111275A	2022-09-26. Service bulletin. Sun Sensor Multi zone Auto Climate Control systems. Left and right outlet temperatures do not match when system is in "sync" . Occupants will experience being cold ( winter time), on either passenger or driver side, even though the temperature setting is the same. Root cause: Suspect sun senors ( PN 55111274AA and 55111275AA). THERE WILL BE NO DTC FOR THE SUN SENSOR active or stored. The issue is diagnosed by using an INCANDESCENT (not LED) shop lamp. Shine the shop lamp on the left side of the sensor, then on the right side of the sensor, while monitoring sensor output with STARSCAN. The reading should change from 0 (or near zero) to about 20 to 40. The important thing is that the left and right readings are the same, and that they change when the lamp is shone on it.

The technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).B1632-15 - Left High Beam Control-Circuit Short To Battery Or Open. B1636-11 - Right High Beam Control-Circuit Short To Ground. In addition the customer may describe the following:High beam headlamps flicker in cold weather. High beams lamps not working properly in cold weather.

Flash: HVAC Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) Module with the latest available software. Some customers may notice one of the following:The Defrost button has to be pressed twice to activate the system. The Automatic Temperature Control (ATC)/ Manual Temperature Control (MTC) controller may lose its configuration. This condition can happen when the battery is disconnected or becomes low. This condition could also happen if CAN bus communication was lost. The software was changed to monitor the configuration every two secondsand updated it if the last data saved in memory is different from what is being received on the CAN bus to correct this issue (2011 Only).
