Service bulletin 09-043-18-3441

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Some vehicles may exhibit the cushion tape (1) attached to the front end of dashboard coming off and showing at the base of the windshield. This is caused by the cushion tape peeling off from the end(s) due to interference with the windshield and vehicle vibration. To prevent the tape from peeling off, both ends of the cushion tape are now folded over to the back side of the dashboard or stapled depending on the model.
