What is wrong

Issue:

On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the doors not to stay latched in a crash. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain side impact protection requirements of Canadian regulations.

Safety Risk:

A door that opens in a crash could increase the risk of injury.

Corrective Actions:

Tesla has released an over-the-air software update to fix this problem. There is no further action required if your vehicle has software release 2023.44.30 or a later release. Tesla will notify affected owners by email.
