What is wrong
Issue:
On certain vehicles, the wrong door latch may have been installed in the front passenger door. As a result, the automatic locking function won't work on that door. An unlocked door could open in a crash.
Safety Risk:
A door that opens in a crash could increase the risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
Infiniti will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the right-front door lock assembly.
