Service bulletins for the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| TT571305 | 2023-07-17. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:DOORS:LOCK; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:ANTI-THEFT:IMMOBILIZER/PROXIMITY:KEY/SENDER. On the vehicles listed above, the auto unlock feature will only unlock the door(s) that were unlocked when the vehicle was last entered. For example, if the vehicle is set to unlock only the driver?s door on first press of the unlock button on the keyless entry remote (or when using the door handle on KESSY equipped vehicles) and only the driver?s door is unlocked during entry, only the driver?s door will unlock with the auto unlock feature when placed into park or the key is removed from the ignition. This is normal operation, normal characteristic and no diagnosis or repair should be attempted for this condition. |

| TT450904 | 2023-07-10. Service bulletin. BACK OVER PREVENTION; STEERING:RACK AND PINION:RACK; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ADAS:PARKING ASSIST:SENSORS; POWER TRAIN; STEERING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STEERING:STEERING CONTROL MODULE. Some Golf, GTI, Jetta, and Passat vehicles equipped with electromechanical power steering have the G85 steering angle sensor located in the steering rack. These vehicles do not have a G85 in the steering column. To determine G85 location, check the J500 Power steering control module part number in the GFF printout. Do not use the part number on the steering rack for this check. |
| TT4506122 | 2023-07-10. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:INSTRUMENT PANEL:SPEEDOMETER/ODOMETER:SENSOR/SENDING UNIT; SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:ANTILOCK:CONTROL UNIT/MODULE. Use the following procedure to diagnose active wheel speed sensor complaints |

| TT441101 | 2023-07-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. If the battery has a low state of charge or is disconnected, fault code 02757 ?adapting tire pressures? may set in address 03 ? Brake Electronics. The GFF test plan for this fault may prove inconclusive and the fault may not clear, even after performing TPMS reset using the button in glove box or through the MFI. |
| TT371301 | 2023-07-05. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. When replacing the 7 speed DSG transmission, the K0 clutch actuator may come with a yellow and black plastic plug installed, as shown in figure 1. This plug should be removed and replaced with the aluminum plug found in the original K0 clutch actuator, figure 2. The yellow and black plastic plug should be reinstalled in place of the plug on the original transmission. |
| TT271102 | 2023-07-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. When diagnosing a low battery or no charging system concern, start by inspecting the SA1 200 amp fuse in the SA fuse block. DO NOT replace the generator. Perform a voltage drop test between threaded connections 508 and SA1 as shown in Figure 1. If the voltage drop is above .02V, disconnect the battery and remove the cables at the 508 connection and the SA1 connection. Check for continuity of the threaded plate connection between 508 and SA1. If fuse SA1 is found to have an open circuit, replace the fuse and check the threaded connections closely. |
| TT261402 | 2023-07-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM); ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Disconnect both O2 sensors (front and rear), start engine and let idle. Check MVB's 41/4 and 136/4 and verify have both changed from a 1 to a 0 (you may have to drive the car 4 miles to get them to reset to 0). Also a key cycle may be required for values to reset. This forces the ECM to re-learn the O2 sensor adaptation. Once MVB 41/4 and 136/4 read 0, re-connect the O2 sensors, road test and recheck for faults. |
| TT261303 | 2023-07-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Use of aftermarket air filters such as cotton bed steel mesh or cone style, can cause the MAF sensor to not read accurately, affecting vehicle performance and critical monitoring functions for the diesel particulate filter. This can also result in premature DPF failure. Only use factory air filters. The use of aftermarket air filters is not supported as the system was designed and calibrated to work with factory air filters. |
| TT971402 | 2023-06-13. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. The DLC is intended for use with diagnostic scan tools and by emissions testing stations. However, aftermarket devices (i.e., drive data recorders) that connect to the DLC have now become available. |
| TT961402 | 2023-06-13. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. When replacing the complete vehicle lock set (all vehicle keys and lock cylinders) for any reason, be aware that the ?Adapt keys? test plan will not allow the new keys to adapt to the vehicle. Instead, perform the test plan for ?New identity?. During this test plan, make the appropriate selection to indicate only the lock set has been replaced, as shown below in figures 1 and 2. |
| TT911401 | 2023-06-13. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:INFOTAINMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. If a 2014 Model Year vehicle equipped with the Car Net? system experiences a customer complaint where the system is placing false outbound calls, it is possible that the cause is a loose or unplugged connector at the 3-Button Assembly in the overhead console. If this concern is verified and there is no damage to the terminal(s) or connector(s), simply secure or plug in the loose connector. |
| TT911308 | 2023-06-13. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:HYBRID MANAGEMENT:POWER CONTROL UNIT/MODULE (HPCU):SOFTWARE. Operating Control Unit (OCU) Service Guidelines & General information |
