The interior sunshade for the panoramic glass roof may be insufficiently fire retardant. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 302, "Flammability of Interior Materials." |
| 2024502 | 2024-09-04. Structure. Issue: On certain vehicles, water could leak into the door handle(s). If this happens, the door(s) could open unexpectedly while driving. Note: This problem could cause a clicking noise that sounds like a door being locked or unlocked. Safety Risk: A door that opens while driving could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the door handles. The dealer will also update the vehicle software. |
