| 26V514000 | 2026-08-06. SUSPENSION:REAR:SHOCK ABSORBER; SUSPENSION:FRONT:SHOCK ABSORBER. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024 Tacoma Hybrid and 2024-2025 Tacoma vehicles. The metal flange on the front and rear shock absorbers may corrode and fail, resulting in detachment of the external oil reservoir. Built 2024-01-02 to 2024-11-25. |

| 2026384 | 2026-08-06. Suspension. Issue: On certain trucks, the oil reservoirs may not be properly welded to the shock absorbers. As a result, the welds could corrode and fail and cause the reservoir(s) to detach from the vehicle. Safety Risk: An oil reservoir that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Toyota will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and replace the affected rear shock absorbers, as necessary. |
