20263842026-08-06. Suspension. Issue: On certain trucks, the oil reservoirs may not be properly welded to the shock absorbers. As a result, the welds could corrode and fail and cause the reservoir(s) to detach from the vehicle. Safety Risk: An oil reservoir that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Toyota will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and replace the affected rear shock absorbers, as necessary.

Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 12.3-inch display. Safety Risk: Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that don't display could increase the risk of a crash. For certain vehicles, the dealer will also inspect and, if necessary, replace the combination meter.

This recall replaces Transport Canada recall 2025-051. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair.
