Recalls that may apply to the 2019 Toyota Prius C

A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

By component

United States: NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19
19V4910002019-06-26. HYBRID PROPULSION SYSTEM. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Prius C vehicles. The DC-DC converter may fail resulting in the auxiliary battery no longer receiving power from the converter, which may cause a loss of drive. Built 2018-02-06 to 2018-10-04.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20193162019-06-26. Powertrain. Issue: On certain vehicles, there may be an electrical component fault. This could cause a problem with charging of the auxiliary battery. If this happens, warning lights and messages will display on the instrument panel and audible chimes will sound. If the vehicle continues to be operated with this problem, it could lose power to the drive wheels. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the drive wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Toyota will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the DC-DC converter. It will be replaced with a new one if necessary.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
