Service bulletins for the 2008 Saturn Sky
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 01-07-30-042H | 2018-05-21. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:TORQUE CONVERTER; POWER TRAIN. This information was created to inform the technician that the 2-3 upshift and the 3-2 downshift clunk is caused by the releasing of the 2-4 band and application of the 3-4 clutch assembly during an upshift. Also during a 3-2 downshift, the releasing of the 3-4 clutch during the application of the 2-4 band, can cause torque reversal down the output shaft creating a clunk. This is a normal condition. |

| SB-09-07-31-002 | 2009-11-30. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY:PEDAL/HAND LEVER(MOTORCYCLE); POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY. PONTIAC/SATURN/OPEL: CLUTCH MAY NOT RELEASE WHEN DEPRESSING CLUTCH PEDAL DURING FREEZING TEMPERATURES (INSTALL WATER DEFLECTOR SHIELD).
