Flash: Dosing Control Unit (DCU) Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the DCU with the latest available software and if necessary replacing the unit. Some customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation, a technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs):P207F - Reductant Quality Performance. P202C - Reductant Tank Heater Control Circuit High. P203B - Reductant Level Sensor 1 Circuit Performance.

Flash: BCM Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Body Control Module (BCM) with the latest available software. The customer may describe the headlamps flicker while operating at night. This condition may be more prevalent after the bulb(s) have been replaced with an aftermarket bulb.

Customers may experience one or more of the following:?Navigation Failed? message is displayed. Navigation is inoperative or inaccurate. CD player will not play songs and/or locks up the radio. Clock will not automatically update to local time. Clock may be off by several hours. (RA3 Only). HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL vehicles). Some Uconnect App remote commands do not execute with the vehicle. Radio Apps are inoperative. Adds Apple Siri® Eyes Free capability for iPhone® owners. Auto Play can now be configured. Radio will lock up. Radio display screen is black or blank. Battery drain - due to radio staying on. Navigation failed message is displayed. Clock not automatically updating to local time. HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL vehicles). Improvements:Adds Apple Siri Eyes Free capability for iPhone owners. Add the ability to drag and drop icons into the menu bar. Enhanced Voice Recognition (VR) performance. Media devices, phone pairing, and Bluetooth usage improvements. Improved tuner performance. Rear Crank Shaft Oil Seal and Retainer Plate For Cummins equipped vehicles only; If you are working on a 2016 or 2017 vehicle ONLY and are replacing the Rear Main Seal for oil leak, replace seal, retainer and gasket using PNs; 05086755A$, 05086754A$, 05015705A$. Remove the retainer with the seal installed. Please do not disturb seal in retainer when removing from engine. Please refer to detailed repair instructions in DealerConnect TechConnect for oil seal retainer replacement. Cummins Engineering is currently investigating the root cause of the oil leak concern and would like to analyze these parts. 90037402022-09-15. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Oil Pan 2012-2017 Cummins engines with oil pan leaks, please inspect the shallow area of the oil pan for cracks. If cracks are found, please replace as necessary. Cracks are typically found above the cross member area. 90034132022-09-15. Service bulletin. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL. Accelerator Pedal Before replacing accelerator pedal, be sure to follow fault code diagnostic procedures in service manual. Make sure to check wiring and connectors. P2122 and P2127 will set if accelerator pedal connector is disconnected during diagnosis. Make sure codes are active before replacing pedal. DTC P2299 is usually caused by a two footed driver and accelerator pedal should not be replaced for this fault.

Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform this inspection: Check if float sensor is rotated off location from the bottle anti-rotation features that surround the SENSOR. Diesel Injector Freezing This bulletin involves installing a insulator over the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) injector. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: P218F - Reductant No Flow Detected. P202E - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Injector Performance. The customer will not notice any drivability issues associated with these DTCs. These DTCs may set when the vehicles is parked for a long time and the ambient temperatures are below -11 °C (12 °F).

Do not replace the simple hinge if it is not damaged it is not the source of the noise. Replacing it unnecessary and is an over-repair.
