Service bulletins for the 2015 Ram 5500
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 2500115 | 2023-01-09. Service bulletin. BACK OVER PREVENTION; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Level Gauge Inaccurate Or Stuck This bulletin involves verifying the correct DEF level in the tank and if necessary, replacing the DEF pump module. A small number of customers may comment that their DEF level gauge is stuck for long periods of time or is erratic. The customer may also experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation a technician may find one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). ? P203B - Reductant Level Sensor Circuit Performance ? P203C - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Level Sensor Circuit Low. ? P203D - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Level Sensor Circuit High. |
| 9003319 | 2022-10-24. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; BACK OVER PREVENTION; POWER TRAIN; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE:TURBO/SUPERCHARGER. Turbocharger, Turbo Speed Sensor, Turbo Gaskets and Seals 1. Do Not Replace Turbocharger for Exhaust Brake Operation Complaints. Do not replace the turbocharger for complaints of exhaust brake operating when the Exhaust Brake switch is off. Replacing the turbocharger will not address these complaints. Update the PCM with the new software version to correct this issue. 2. Turbo Speed Sensor is Now Serviceable. If a Turbocharger Speed Sensor is being replaced for a P2580 or any other reason, the Turbo Speed Sensor is now available separate from the Turbocharger Kit. do not replace the entire Turbocharger Kit. 2013-2015 Chassis Cab or Pickup - PN 68210095A$ 2007-2012 Chassis Cab or Pickup - PN 68039104A$. 3. | 1811322 | 2022-09-26. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EXTERIOR LIGHTING; FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC; FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL; BACK OVER PREVENTION. Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. There will be a choice between two calibrations. One for vehicles that utilize an ammonia sensor and one for vehicles that have hadthe ammonia sensor removed. Be sure to select the correct software based on vehicle configuration.Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Uponfurther investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following DTCs have been set: P064F - Unauthorized Software/Calibration Detected. P202E - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Injector Performance. P24A5 - EGR Cooler Bypass Bank 1 Control Stuck. U0001 - Can C Bus. P20EE - Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) NOx Catalyst Efficiency BelowThreshold - Bank 1 (For ammonia sensor equipped vehicles). P1C55 - NOx Sensor Intermittent - Bank 1 Sensor 1 (For ammonia sensor deletedsystems only). P218F - Reductant No Flow Detected. P242F - Diesel Particulate Filter Restriction - Ash Accumulation. U110E - Lost Ambient Temperature Message. P205E - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Tank Temperature Sensor CircuitIntermittent (setting when the block heater is plugged in). P20E8 - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Pressure Too Low. U3017 - Control Module Timer/Clock Performance. U1421 - Implausible Ignition Key Off Time Received. P2281 - Air Leak Between MAF And Throttle Body. In addition, the following software enhancements are also available: A/C pressure sensor update. wiTECH engine cooling fan actuation test update. Ambient air temperature improvements. Operational improvement for dual alternators. Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) efficiency scan tool test improvement. Fuel filter minder calibration changes. wiTECH Fuel Pressure Override and Fuel System Run Up test improvements. Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system improvement to help prevent freezeup.
