Flash: 2.4L Powertrain Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with the latest available software. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination or one or more of the following conditions. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set in the PCM memory:

Fuel Gelling in Cold Ambient Temperatures This bulletin involves reconfiguring the Body Control Module (BCM). Some customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) due to fuel related Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) and/or may have a hard or no start condition due to fuel gelling in cold ambient temperatures (20°F or -7°C) or below. DTCs, such as P0087, P0191 or P026B (or other DTCs) may have been set.frame mounted fuel filter heater not to function. The condition is due to a configuration setting in the Body Control Module (BCM).

Flash: Diesel Message Display In the Cluster May Have Overlapping Text This Bulletin involves updating the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) software. A customer may notice that some of the text in the cluster for the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) reminder is overlapping.

If this occurs, do not replace the ICS. The module functionality can be restored if it is reset by disconnecting power to it (by removing fuse, battery disconnect or module connector disconnect).~

Engineering is currently root causing this issue and your assistance is greatly appreciated. Seeking vehicles with HFM in a locked state, inoperative, or offline. If unable to reach this person within 15 minutes, then proceed with the necessary repair.
