| 2017659 | 2017-12-21. Powertrain. On certain vehicles equipped with a steering column gear shifter, the brake transmission shift interlock (BTSI) may become inoperative. This could allow the steering column gear shifter lever to be shifted out of the PARK (P) position without depressing the service brake pedal or having the key in the ignition, which could result in unintended vehicle movement, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace the BTSI as necessary. The Body Control Module (BCM) will also be updated. |

| 2016337 | 2016-06-29. Powertrain. On certain cab chassis trucks, due to a defect in the transfer case, the rear main output shaft could fracture. This could result in a loss of motive power, which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions may increase the risk of a crash. This would also cause a loss of PARK functionality when in two wheel drive, potentially leading to unintended vehicle movement. These issues could result in injury and/or damage to property Correction: Dealers will replace the transfer case. Note: The vehicle will remain operable in four wheel drive. |
