Rear Crank Shaft Oil Seal and Retainer Plate For Cummins equipped vehicles only;~ If you are working on a 2016 vehicle ONLY and are replacing the Rear Main Seal for oil leak, replace seal, retainer and gasket using PNs; 05086755A$, 05086754A$, 05015705A$. Remove the retainer with the seal installed. Please do not disturb seal in retainer when removing from engine. Please refer to detailed repair instructions in DealerConnect TechConnect for oil seal retainer replacement.~ Cummins Engineering is currently investigating the root cause of the oil leak concern and would like to analyze these parts. Flash: 6.7L Diagnostic And System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the Engine Control Module/Powertrain Control Module (ECM/PCM) with the latest available software. These DTCs have been changed from a one trip fault to a two trip fault: · P2280 - Air Flow Restriction / Leak Between Air Cleaner And MAF. · P203C - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Level Sensor Circuit Low. · P208D - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Pump Control Circuit High. A small number of customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation a technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set in the PCM memory: · P1C55 - NOx Sensor Intermittent - Bank 1 Sensor 1. · P207F - Reductant Quality Performance. · P218F - Reductant No Flow Detected. · U110E - Lost Ambient Temperature Message. In addition to addressing the above DTCs, the following powertrain system improvements/enhancements are also included in this software release: · Ambient Air Temperature Improvements. · Stationary de-soot with WiTech fix.

Pentastar Oil Filter Adapter All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L engine; If replacing the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) due to a leak detected between OFA and block, an O-ring kit (68191356AA) is now available to repair OFA/Block Interface leaks. Using dye will assist in determining source of leak. Ensure OFA Cap Oring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. Engineering is seeking information regarding OFA leaks. Intake Grid Heater Grid Heater Relay 2012 - 2016 6.7L Cummins engines with Intake Heater issues or DTC P2609 and P0542, please replace the Intake Heater Grid and Relay as a set. 68210071A$ (relay) and 05187880A$ (grid). Inspect electrical cable between the heater grid and relay for signs of possible overheating. Replace cable as necessary.

Housing: Oil Filter Adapter Cummins equipped trucks ONLY; If you are replacing the oil filter adapter as a result of thread damage to the oil filter connector (Spud), DO NOT replace the entire adapter assembly. The oil filter connector is available separately (Part Number 04429355).~ If ordering an adapter due to some other issue, you must also order an oil bypass valve Mopar Part # 04797726AB, as these are not reusable. Please refer to all applicable published service information for oil bypass valve installation

Intake Manifold Gasket Intake Manifold Gaskets on Pentastar Upgrade (Sales Code ERC/ERF) are reusable provided they are not cut, torn or melted. The gaskets are not required by warranty to be replaced like they are on Pentastar Classic (ERB/EHB). The new gaskets are not interchangeable with Pentastar Classic Intake Manifold Gaskets.
