Service bulletins for the 2019 Ram 2500

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Prior to ordering this part for a customer stating the Tailgate will not auto release when the tailgate is closed or is hard to close, first try adjusting the tailgate strikers to minimize the force required to close. The strikers must be centered up/down in the latch opening. You have to balance tailgate flushness and closing effort by moving the strikers fore or aft. Before replacing accelerator pedal for other DTCs, be sure to follow fault code diagnostic procedures in Service Library and be sure to check wiring and connectors. P2122 and P2127 will set if accelerator pedal connector is disconnected during diagnosis. Make sure codes are active before replacing pedal. DTC P2299 is usually caused by a two footed driver and acceleartor pedal should not be replaced for this fault if driving style is confirmed with the customer.
90042152020-04-06. Service bulletin. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL. GLASS, Front Door For concern of front door window inoperative, please verify if the glass clips are still adhered to the glass. If clips are not attached, please take some detailed pictures of the glass bottom edges where the clips go and also of the clips to verify if there was poor aplication of urethane or if adhesion failed and contact FCA Redacted Content to report findings and set up a potential part return for analysis. If no response in 15 minutes, proceed with repair.
