| 2018230 | 2018-05-03. Accessories. FCA Canada has determined that some Mopar gooseneck trailer hitch ball kits may not fully seat and lock into the truck hardware as intended. If this occurs, the gooseneck ball may appear to be locked in place when it is not. If the gooseneck ball is not locked in place, under certain driving conditions it may detach from the truck. Affected parts are the Mopar 2 5/16‘’ Gooseneck Ball Kit part number 82213631 and Mopar 3” Gooseneck Ball Kit part number 82213632. Correction: FCA Canada will conduct a voluntary field action on all affected parts. The remedy for this condition is currently under development. Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace the BTSI as necessary. The Body Control Module (BCM) will also be updated. |
