Motor Generator Unit Engineering is looking to avoid unnecessary part replacements for Motor Generator Unit (MGU) underhood whining noise and P1C64 faults. When replacing the MGU for a bearing noise, connect the scan tool to the vehicle and create a scan report to include with the claim prior to replacement of the MGU. Valve Cover Gasket If you are experiencing a right valve cover leak and plan on replacing only the gasket, the customer may later return for an oil leak. Engineering has updated the skirt height of the valve cover to address oil leaks. Replace the valve cover (part # 04893800AI includes valve cover gasket) to ensure proper repair.
