Flash: RA3/RA4 Radio Software Enhancements This bulletin involves inspecting and if required, updating the radio software. A small number of customers may experience one or more of the following: ? **?Navigation Failed? message is displayed. ? Navigation is inoperative or inaccurate. ? CD player will not play songs and/or locks up the radio. ? The clock will not automatically update to local time. ? The clock may be off by several hours (RA3 only). ? HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL vehicles). ? Some Uconnect App remote commands do not execute with the vehicle. ? Radio Apps are inoperative. ? Radio will lock up. Radio display screen is black or blank. Battery drain due to radio staying on.** Rearview Camera image appears jittery (UF vehicles only). Inability to establish a WiFi connection when security feature is enabled (UF vehicles only). Audio distortion/popping heard while playing Apple devices through the USB port (UF vehicles only). Remote Uconnect Apps functions (i.e. door locks, remote start) inoperative while the engine is running (UF vehicles only). HVAC temperature out of sync with radio display (KL vehicles). Intermittently blind spot chime will not turn off (KL vehicles only). The radio may switch from SiriusXMT to an AM station by itself. Uconnect registration always present, can not remove Uconnect account. Audio muted after AUX device is disconnected. Part Description: FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY Issue Description: Please follow this procedure to resolve Center Floor Console noise (e.g. ticking, buzz, squeak, rattle): 1) Remove tape/film from the Center Floor Console latch areas (Arm Rest Lid latch {Upper compartment} & bezel and Storage Bin {lower compartment} latch & bezel surfaces). 2) Apply interior cleaner onto cloth to remove the tape/film adhesive from the plastic latch & bezel and Storage Bin & Armrest Lid contact surfaces. Verify problem is resolved.

Axle Assembly, Axle Carrier, Axle Ring and Pinion Engineering is currently investigating concerns with pinion seals on the 2014-15 MY Ram 1500 Pick-up with a rear axle manufactured within the October to November 2014 calendar year. Please contact Ridhan Riyal at cell (810) 513-3832 for further instruction. If he cannot be reached with 15 minutes proceed with your repair.~ The DS Limited Slip Differential operates as a torque sensing device because when torque is applied to the differential gear set the reaction forces of the bevel gears apply an axial force into the clutch system providing the torque bias. When the input torque is very low the reaction forces will decrease allowing the differential to ACT SIMILIAR TO A OPEN DIFFERENTIAL (zero preload). Please do not confuse this with prior model year Limited Slip Differentials. See the service manual for complete details.

Part Description: Bumper Step Pad Issue Description: Customer may notice the center section of the step pad is not sitting flat. It will appear raised either left or right of center. Please photograph the condition, measure the gap between the bumper and step pad. Then contact Jim Allie via Cell Phone (248) 736-5349 with this information. We may want to have the whole bumper assembly returned for study. ~ If the dealership is within the Metro Detroit Area, Jim would like to analyze the vehicle in person prior to repair. ~ If the dealership is not close, please take pictures and a detailed description of what is causing the issue including where on the Step Pad the issue is occurring.
