We may want to have the whole bumper assembly returned for study. ~ If the dealership is within the Metro Detroit Area, Jim would like to analyze the vehicle in person prior to repair. ~ If the dealership is not close, please take pictures and a detailed description of what is causing the issue including where on the Step Pad the issue is occurring. Customer Satisfaction Notification R51 Winter Front Cover The Charge Air Cooler (CAC) on about 8,000 of the above vehicles may develop internal icing in cold temperature regions. This condition may cause the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) to illuminate and cause the vehicle to experience a 35 mph limp in condition. A winter front cover must be installed when sustained day and night time temperatures drop below 30° F (-1° C).

Center Console If vehicle comes in for squeaking, clicking, or binding of the center console lid, verify the complaint by cycling the upper console lid. Check for a green dot sticker on the back of the console behind the rear panel by the hinge. ~ If the above complaint is verified and the console DOES NOT have a green dot sticker near the hinge (behind the back panel), order kit PN 68315574AA and install per the included instructions. Otherwise continue with the repair. Please reference TSB 23-001-16 Rev. E (or later version).
