Service bulletins for the 2012 Porsche 911

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

122-V3U7E-062017-08-01. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CRANKCASE (PCV); ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Concerns: Plug on crankcase for cylinders 1-3. Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is the possibility that a plug that was pressed into and sealed to the crankcase is not seated securely enough in the opening on the affected vehicles. As a result, this can cause the plug to become loose and as a result, oil can suddenly leak out of the crankcase, resulting in immediate engine damage.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
