Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 103, "Windshield Defrosting and Defogging Systems," 104, "Windshield Wiping and Washing Systems," and 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." | 2026420 | 2026-09-01. Brakes. Issue: On a small number of trucks, the rear brakes may take too long to apply and/or may release too slowly when the brake pedal is released. Canadian regulations require brakes to apply and release within a certain time. Safety Risk: Brakes that take too long to apply and/or that release too slowly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the front brake valve. The dealer will also replace the hose from the foot valve to the brake relay valve with one of another size. |
