AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT FLASHING INDICATING SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC MODE IF YOU CONFIRM The air bag warning light is flashing slowly (repeating 2 seconds ON, 2 seconds OFF). NOTE: If this should occur, the Air Bag Diagnosis Sensor Unit is in Diagnostic Mode and needs to be returned to User Mode. ACTION 1. Use CONSULT-III plus to check for Air Bag DTCs and perform repairs as needed. 2. Return the Air Bag Diagnosis Sensor Unit to User Mode.

IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON with DTC P0776 (PC SOLENOID B ? Pressure Control Solenoid ?B? Performance/Stuck OFF) stored. Refer to ASIST for diagnostic assistance. - With this incident, if it should occur, P1715 (INPUT SPEED SENSOR) may be stored with DTC P0776. The vehicle may also hesitate and/or have reduced power. ACTION 1. Refer to the Repair Flow Chart on page 2 for mechanical CVT repair. 2. If needed, reprogram the TCM. - Refer to step 30 in the TCM Reprogram section (page 21) of the SERVICE PROCEDURE to confirm if reprogramming is needed. 3. Perform Additional Service (page 19).

The procedure in this bulletin is different than those that are currently in the Electronic Service Manuals (ESMs), which will be updated with this information at a later date.

NTB18-0592018-10-01. Service bulletin. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE. SENTRA, VERSA SEDAN, AND VERSA NOTE; CVT FLUID LEAK SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION CVT related fluid leaks may be diagnosed incorrectly upon initial inspection causing incorrect parts replacement such as oil pan gaskets, axle seals, etc. To help reduce/eliminate the possible return of an applied vehicle, first check for leakage around the CVT fluid charging pipe. When leakage is determined to be coming from the base of the CVT fluid charging pipe, remove it to inspect, and if necessary, replace the O-ring. If needed, CVT leak inspection dye may be used to determine the source of the leak. - Refer to NTB09-140. See example photos on pages 2 and 3.

Additional tools can be obtained from Tech?Mate at 1-800-662-2001. Refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE on the next page to determine how to perform a CVT fluid quick level check.
