Service bulletins for the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Allowing the vehicle to idle for 22 minutes will allow for faster CVN calculation. It is recommended that customers utilize this method if the vehicle needs to be tested for emissions soon after ECM reprogramming. See this bulletin for further detail. |
| NTB14109 | 2021-05-10. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE. SERVICE INFORMATION Starting with 2010 Model Year, Nissan vehicles have been gradually incorporating a new type of DTC known as Permanent DTC or P-DTC. If a vehicle is equipped with P-DTCs, all emission related DTCs will also set a P-DTC if the MIL is turned ON. A listing of which DTCs that will also set a P-DTC is found in the DTC Index in the EC-Engine Control section of the Electronic Service Manual (ESM). If a DTC repair is performed and the DTC erased, a vehicle may fail an Emission Inspection and Maintenance test if the P-DTC is not also erased. See this bulletin for further detail. |

If there is interference with I-Key signals, the following symptoms may occur: - The I-key is not detected, causing: - The engine to not start (no response when the Stop/Start button is pressed) - "I-Key System Error" displayed in the instrument cluster - "No I-Key Detected" displayed in the instrument cluster - Intermittent operation of the buttons on the remote (Key FOB). - Intermittent operation of the door request switches.
