Driver Air Bag Inflator Field Quality Parts Collection Initiative Update ***** Collection Initiative Summary ***** Nissan launched a special parts collection activity on September 15, 2017 to replace the driver Takata air bag inflators free of charge on specific MY2012 and MY2013 NV Van (F80) vehicles registered in the following states: - Zone A: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas - Zone C: Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Idaho, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming These vehicles were selected based on geographic location and are not subject to a recall. Nissan has collected a sufficient number of parts for this particular zone and will now close the initiative. Nissan wants to inform dealers that PC582 & PC583 will conclude on April 30, 2018. Service Comm was deactivated on March 14, 2018. The parts collection initiative will continue until April 30, 2018 in order to allow dealers sufficient time to complete any previously scheduled repairs. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Service Comm was deactivated for campaign ID PC582 & PC583 on any unrepaired VINs on March 14, 2018. Dealers should complete previously scheduled appointments at this time. 2. Dealers should submit any open claims for this collection activity by April 30, 2018. 3. Dealers may continue to use NTB17-102 to service any previously scheduled vehicles subject to this activity until April 30, 2018. PLEASE NOTE: The return process for this collection activity is different than the normal Takata parts return process (NTB17-102, page 11-17). - Used Inflators for this activity are being returned via Fed-Ex (not XPO/Stericycle)

NTB17-0822017-10-25. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:TANK VALVE/GAUGE. NISSAN; DTC P0456 CAUSED BY EVAP LEAK AT VENT CONTROL VALVE O-RING IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON in an APPLIED VEHICLE with DTC P0456 (EVAP VERY SML LEAK) AND - DTC P0456 is not caused by a loose fuel fill cap (refer to NTB13-097). - An EVAP leak has been detected where the vent control valve mounts to the canister. - The vent control valve O-ring seal is determined to be the cause. ACTION 1. DO NOT REPLACE the vent control valve. 2. Replace the vent control valve O-ring seal (O-ring). - Refer to SERVICE PROCEDURE on page 2.

NTB17-0142017-10-15. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; EQUIPMENT. BLUETOOTH, USB, AND AUX FUNCTION DIAGNOSTIC TOOL SERVICE INFORMATION The Enhanced Multi-Media Interface Tester (EMMIT) J-51922 is a new special tool that tests the functionality of the following features: Bluetooth o Pairing/Connecting o Phonebook Access Profile o Hands Free Profile (for calls) o Bluetooth Audio test o Message Access Profile (for text messages, if so equipped) USB o Tests USB music playback o Tests USB music browsing capability AUX o Tests AUX Jack playback Use EMMIT to diagnose symptoms related to Bluetooth, USB, and AUX. If EMMIT passes diagnostic tests, the symptom is caused by the customer?s phone and not caused by the AV control unit. DO NOT replace the AV control unit. NOTE: If an AV control unit is replaced for multi-media issues that can be tested with EMMIT, a printed copy of the EMMIT diagnostic results must be included with the returned unit. See page 2 for more information about the EMMIT tool.

TAKATA INFLATOR FIELD QUALITY PARTS COLLECTION INITIATIVE 2012-2013 NV INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this Takata Inflator Field Quality Parts Collection Initiative to replace the driver air bag inflator on certain pre-selected 2012-2013 NV 1500, 2500, 3500, and Passenger vehicles in the States of Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Idaho, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. Collected parts will be sent to Takata for analysis. Takata has issued return packaging, shipping labels, documents, and directions that must be used and followed in order to properly carry out this initiative. Takata?s documentation is attached and is part of this bulletin. NOTE: - This activity will expire when sufficient quantities have been collected. - As part of this initiative, a complementary engine oil and filter change may be performed. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER For this initiative, Nissan has assigned identification numbers PC582 and PC583. The correct number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this initiative. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within the range of this initiative that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer's inventory.
