Transverse Link Inspection Dealer Inventory Dealer Announcement: Nissan is conducting a dealer inventory quality action to inspect and, if necessary, replace the right and/or left Transverse Link (TV) on 5,472 specific 2020 Murano vehicles identified in Service Comm. Due to a supplier issue that has since been resolved, the subject vehicles may have been produced with incorrectly forged transverse links that could reduce the structural integrity of the transverse links. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. What Dealers Should Do: PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS: 1.Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History – Open Campaigns I.D. EQUIPMENT; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; POWER TRAIN. 2015-2020 MURANO; ENGINE SUPPORT TOOLS FOR CVT REMOVAL - AWD SERVICE INFORMATION The Engine Support Tool and Engine Support Bracket are now available to allow the CVT to be removed from the Applied Vehicles, without removing the engine (Figure 1). The service procedure for using these tools is located in the 2021 Murano ESM. Refer to the 2021 Murano ESM to remove the CVT using the Engine Support Tools. TELEMATICS CONTROL UNIT RESET AFTER AUTOMATIC COLLISION NOTIFICATION SERVICE INFORMATION The Telematics Control Unit (TCU) has the ability to send an automatic collision notification when the vehicle is involved in an accident. Once an automatic collision notification is performed, the function becomes disabled. The TCU must be reset to re-enable the automatic collision notification function. This bulletin describes how to reset the TCU after an automatic collision notification has been performed.

SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR INFOTAINMENT ISSUES SERVICE INFORMATION When diagnosing an infotainment issue, always confirm that the latest software is installed in the AV control unit before starting the diagnosis. The software update in the following service procedure is to address the items below: • Stability improvements and “bug” fixes. • Android Auto skips while playing music. Refer to steps 1 - 4 to confirm that this bulletin applies. HINT: The update-software only needs to be downloaded once and then can then be used on multiple vehicles until other infotainment software is loaded onto the USB drive to overwrite the original data.
