SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR INFOTAINMENT ISSUES SERVICE INFORMATION When diagnosing an infotainment issue or after replacement of the AV Control Unit, it is necessary to verify the current software version of the AV Control Unit to determine if a software version update is required. Use the vehicle tables in this bulletin to determine the current software version, if the AV Control Unit requires a software version update, and which procedure to use to update the AV Control Unit. The software updates in this bulletin are to address stability improvements and “bug” fixes. IMPORTANT: If the customer is experiencing a software related concern, refer to NTB21-038 to verify if the customer concern is a hardware or software related issue. If the concern is a software related issue, review the information in this bulletin to update the AV Control Unit as needed.

Transverse Link Inspection Dealer Inventory Dealer Announcement: Nissan is conducting a dealer inventory quality action to inspect and, if necessary, replace the right and/or left Transverse Link (TV) on 5,472 specific 2020 Murano vehicles identified in Service Comm. Due to a supplier issue that has since been resolved, the subject vehicles may have been produced with incorrectly forged transverse links that could reduce the structural integrity of the transverse links. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. What Dealers Should Do: PLEASE FOLLOW THE ATTACHED INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS: 1.Verify if vehicles are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History – Open Campaigns I.D. EQUIPMENT; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; POWER TRAIN. 2015-2020 MURANO; ENGINE SUPPORT TOOLS FOR CVT REMOVAL - AWD SERVICE INFORMATION The Engine Support Tool and Engine Support Bracket are now available to allow the CVT to be removed from the Applied Vehicles, without removing the engine (Figure 1). The service procedure for using these tools is located in the 2021 Murano ESM. Refer to the 2021 Murano ESM to remove the CVT using the Engine Support Tools.
