NTB17-1032017-10-12. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. 2017 MURANO; MID-YEAR CHANGE TO CENTER CONSOLE SERVICE INFORMATION Starting with the applied VIN and date above, 2017 Murano vehicles come equipped with a center console configured differently than 2017 Murano vehicles built prior. Earlier built vehicles came equipped with a removable coin tray while currently built vehicles have the tray molded in as part of the center console assembly. For details, see photos on page 2. For this issue, do not order and replace under warranty a removable tray or complete center console assembly if the vehicle was built on or after the applied VIN and date stated above. This change is not applicable under the Nissan New Vehicle Warranty. These vehicles are built correctly with a molded-in tray and without a removable tray. The removable tray is available and will fit the newer console if the customer wishes to purchase it.

PATHFINDER, MURANO, AND ROGUE; FLUID LEAK CAUSED BY TRANSFER ASSEMBLY RIGHT SIDE DRIVE SHAFT SEAL This bulletin applies only to AWD equipped vehicles. IF YOU CONFIRM Fluid is leaking from the right side of the transfer assembly (see Figure 1). NOTE: The fluid leak is not caused by the seal shown in Figure 1. ACTION 1. DO NOT REPLACE the transfer assembly. 2. Reseal the transfer assembly. - Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section DLN ? Driveline, for transfer assembly removal, reseal, and installation information. - Refer to page 2 and 3 for additional information. CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the transfer assembly right side drive shaft seal when reinstalling the drive shaft.

NTB16-1232017-08-01. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. PLASTIC INTERIOR TRIM PROTECTIVE COVERING REMOVAL SERVICE INFORMATION Vehicles are delivered with plastic interior trim protective covering on the front and rear seats, front and rear door panel finishers, steering wheel, and sun visors (see examples on page 2). When removing the protective covering, care must be used to avoid scuffs, scrapes, cuts, and other abrasive contact to interior trim components. DO NOT use sharp objects like razor blades, box cutters, knives, etc. when removing the plastic interior trim protective covering. IMPORTANT All soft trim described in this bulletin is on automatic return to NNA. Any trim found damaged in the way described in this bulletin will be charged back to the dealer.
