EQUIPMENT; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; POWER TRAIN. 2015-2020 MURANO; ENGINE SUPPORT TOOLS FOR CVT REMOVAL - AWD SERVICE INFORMATION The Engine Support Tool and Engine Support Bracket are now available to allow the CVT to be removed from the Applied Vehicles, without removing the engine (Figure 1). The service procedure for using these tools is located in the 2021 Murano ESM. Refer to the 2021 Murano ESM to remove the CVT using the Engine Support Tools. PATHFINDER, ALTIMA, MAXIMA, MURANO AND QUEST; CVT JUDDER AND DTC P17F0 OR P17F1 STORED IF YOU CONFIRM The customer reports a transmission judder (shake, shudder, single or multiple bumps or vibration), AND One of these DTCs is stored: • P17F0 (CVT_JUDDER (T/M INSPECTION)) • P17F1 (CVT_JUDDER (C/U INSPECTION)) NOTE: • If a transmission judder (as described above) is not reported, this bulletin does not apply. • If either P17F0 or P17F1 are not stored, this bulletin does not apply. • If any DTCs are stored other than P17F0 or P17F1, this bulletin does not apply. • NTB15-014, Enhanced Diagnostic Logic For CVT Judder, has reprogramming instructions that may apply. ACTION • Refer to the Repair Flow Chart on page 2 for CVT repair. CAUTION: Always handle the CVT and component assemblies carefully and with the appropriate lifting tools.
NTB10-029f2020-10-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; POWER TRAIN; EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. NISSAN; VIBRATION AND/OR NOISE WHEN MAKING LOW SPEED TURNS IF YOU CONFIRM There is a vibration or judder feeling from the rear of the vehicle during the following conditions: • When making turns • On dry roads • At low speeds (under 40 MPH) And • The above vibration does not occur if the Electric Controlled Coupling is electrically disconnected. NOTE: In some cases, electrically disconnecting the Electric Controlled Coupling may not eliminate the vibration as described above. In these cases, further confirm the incident by removing the rear propeller shaft and retest. If the vibration does not occur with the rear propeller shaft removed, the incident is confirmed. IMPORTANT: Tire size, brand or tread pattern mismatches can cause similar symptoms. To avoid tire related mismatch vibration, it is recommended that when tires need to be replaced, all tires are replaced at the same time with tires of the proper size, same brand and pattern. See ACTION on page 2.

EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; EQUIPMENT. 2015-2020 MURANO; CARPET PULLED OUT FROM UNDER INNER KICKING PLATE IF YOU CONFIRM The carpet is pulling out from under the driver side front, passenger side front or the passenger side rear inner kicking plates (See Figure 1 for example). ACTION Add foam padding to the floor spacer plate near the affected area of the vehicle. • - See page 2 for Driver Side Front. • - See page 6 for Passenger Side Front. • - See page 9 for Passenger Side Rear.

ACTION First, perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure for the stored code to repair the vehicle according to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), AND Reprogram the ECM after performing the diagnosis and repair.
