26V2520002026-04-20. STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE:SUPPORT DEVICE/STRUT. Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Outlander PHEV and 2014-2020 Outlander vehicles. The liftgate gas spring cylinders may corrode and lose pressure, which can result in a gas spring cylinder rupture or the liftgate falling unexpectedly. Built from 2013-04-12.
25V5070002025-08-07. STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE:SUPPORT DEVICE/STRUT. Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. The liftgate gas spring cylinders may corrode and lose pressure, which can result in a gas spring cylinder rupture or the liftgate falling unexpectedly. Built from 2013-04-12.
20V4030002020-07-13. SEAT BELTS: REAR/OTHER:BUCKLE ASSEMBLY. Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is recalling certain 2014-2019 Outlander and 2018-2019 Outlander PHEV vehicles. The second-row center seat belt buckle may interfere with the right-side seat belt buckle when the seat backs are folded down. The interference may cause the right-side seat belt buckle cover to come off, making the buckle latch inoperable and unable to restrain an occupant.
18V0700002018-01-26. PARKING BRAKE. Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is recalling certain 2014-2016 Outlander and 2013-2016 Outlander Sport vehicles. Water may enter the rear brake calipers causing the parking brake actuator shafts to corrode and possibly bind. Built 2013-04-12 to 2016-02-02.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20254052025-08-06. Structure. Issue: On certain vehicles, water could enter the tailgate struts and cause them to corrode. If this happens, the struts could fail, and the tailgate could drop suddenly. Safety Risk: A tailgate that drops suddenly could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Mitsubishi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the tailgate struts.
20245542024-09-19. Label. Issue: On certain vehicles, the compliance label may be missing information in French. The words and abbreviations listed on the label for "TIRES", "RIMS", "WITH", "FR" and "RR" and appear in English only, when they should be listed as "TIRES/PNEUS", "RIMS/JANTES", "WITH/AVEC", "FR/AVT" and "RR/ARR". Canadian regulations require this information to be listed on the label in both English and French. Safety Risk: These small errors do not affect vehicle safety. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. Mitsubishi has corrected the compliance label for all new vehicles.
20203172020-07-14. Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain vehicles, the seat belt buckle for the right seat in the second-row could be damaged when the seats are folded down. This can cause the seat belt buckle cover to come off. If this happens, the seat belt may not latch properly. Safety Risk: A seat belt that does not latch properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Mitsubishi will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to modify the center seat belt buckle in the second seating row. A warning label will also be attached to the right seat base and additional instructions will be added to the owner's manual.
20185892018-10-26. Electrical. On certain vehicles, a wiring connector located under the driver's side carpet may become contaminated by salt water and corrode over time. This could cause a short-circuit that may cause the connector to overheat and melt and potentially lead to a fire if combustible objects are nearby. A vehicle fire could result in injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will relocate and replace the wiring connector terminal to a higher position and replace the rear display harness with a new one.
20180532018-01-26. Brakes. On certain vehicles, insufficient rust prevention to the parking brake shaft and insufficient sealing performance of the rear brake caliper boot could allow water to penetrate inside these components causing corrosion. As a result, the parking brake shaft may become stuck causing brake dragging and/or decreased parking brake performance. Additionally, the automatic adjuster for the brake pad clearance of the rear brake caliper with the built-in parking brake may not work correctly. These conditions could lead to a vehicle rollaway, which would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect and repair the rear brakes as necessary.
20142482014-06-25. Powertrain. On certain 2012 to 2014 model year vehicles, due to improper manufacturing of the oil seal boss in certain transfer assemblies, the oil seal can become out of position and allow automatic transmission fluid to enter into the transfer assembly, resulting in reduced automatic transmission fluid pressure in the transaxle. This condition would illuminate the “Automatic Transmission” (A/T) warning light in the instrument panel and could result in the inability to shift gears or to drive the vehicle, increasing the risk of crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the transfer assembly. Note: Only a limited number of 2007 to 2010 model year vehicles equipped with a replacement transfer assembly are included in the recall population.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
