For new vehicles in stock at the dealer, inspect and maintain the batteries periodically according to the repair procedure.
16-003-232023-04-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:INFOTAINMENT. Some customers may complain that Mazda Connect does not start (blank screen) or that it takes a long time to restart/ reboot after starting the vehicle. This is caused by the initialization process with the CMU failing at startup due to a defective circuit board element. To eliminate this concern, the internal hardware (DRAM) of the CMU has been improved.

07-002-232023-03-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Some customers may complain that the ambient temperature on the instrument cluster is displayed more than 50 °F (10°C) lower than the actual temperature, resulting in insufficient performance of the air conditioning. This is caused by inappropriate soldering in the ambient temperature sensor. To eliminate this concern, the soldering process has been enhanced since December 2021 at the supplier.
09-001-232023-02-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some vehicles may exhibit DTC U3000:04 (Telematics communication unit internal malfunction) stored after the connected service contract has been discontinued (only vehicles in which the customer opted out of CV services are affected - CSP04). This is caused by improper control software of telematics communication unit. To eliminate this concern, the control software of telematics communication unit has been modified.
07-001-232023-02-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers may complain about insufficient heater performance under -4 degree F (-20 degree C) or colder environment. This is caused when the air conditioner is set to the defroster mode, cold air bypasses around the PTC heater and the warmed air at the PTC heater is cooled down by the cold air around it. This results in insufficient heater performance. To eliminate this concern, the cold air around the PTC heater has been reduced and the control software of the heat pump control unit has been modified to increase the output temperature of the PTC heater.
SA-006/232023-02-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers may complain about the infotainment system and/or the MyMazda App showing incorrect clock and/or tire pressures and/or tire pressure missing. This may be caused by: - Incorrect calendar entry (month/day/year) after a battery disconnect - Infotainment system software update. - BCM TPMS unlearn during vehicle storage or transport. - Wheel/Tire change

RF-23-022023-02-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Due to the supply chain shortages for BDGF-66-5G0G, hardware has been confirmed compatible between BDGF-66-5G0B up to the G suffix. This can be used for repair with vehicles originally equipped with C to G level suffix parts.
09-048-222023-01-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some vehicles may exhibit the following symptoms with DTC P05A0:00 (Active air shutter and the opening angle abnormality (sticking)) stored in memory. Symptom 1 [Mazda3 and CX-30]: The active air shutter is working, but DTC P05A0:00 is stored in memory. Cause 1: This is caused by improper control software of the PCM detecting the DTC immediately without performing the failsafe operation. When the active air shutter detects unusual torque, it is designed to repeat the open/close cycles up to three times as a failsafe to try to remove the object(s) which temporarily disturbed the movement. Symptom 2 [Mazda3, CX-30 and MX-30]: The active air shutter is frozen by snow and/or ice under freezing temperatures with DTC P05A0:00 stored in memory. Cause 2 [Mazda3 and CX-30]: When a temporary blocking of the active air shutter is expected to be caused by snow and/or ice and the intake air temperature is above the freezing point, DTC P05A0:00 may be unintentionally detected. [MX-30]: When a temporary blocking of the active air shutter is expected to be caused by snow and/or ice and the heater is turned on, DTC P05A0:00 may be unintentionally detected

SA-073-222022-12-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers may complain that the HVAC system's touch panel switches settings on it's own. When you receive a customer complaint regarding this concern, explain the following characteristics of the touch panel to the customer. The MX-30 heater control unit uses a capacitive touch screen which may determine that a switch has been pressed because of the close proximity of a hand, even though it has not been touched directly. No repair is necessary unless you confirm abnormal operation different from the description. NOTE: The heater control unit’s operation confirmation sound does not sound if there is another warning or confirmation sound of another system at the same time. Since the confirmation sound of the heater control unit is missing in this special case, some customers may feel that the heater control settings have switched by themselves.
SA-064-22a2022-12-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers may comlpain about an intermittent Beep sound (popping sound) every 1 ~ 2 minutes while driving. This may be cause by a software error in the navigation SD card.

Some customers may complain that Mazda Connect does not start (blank screen) or that it takes a long time to restart/ reboot after starting the vehicle. 09-046-222022-12-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers may experience that, with a specific operation, the touch sensor of front door outer handle does not lock and unlock the doors but the remote transmitter operates correctly. Description of the specific operations: - Specific Operation 1 [MX-30]: After using cabin preconditioning or hazard warning lights for approx.15 minutes. - Specific Operation 2 [MAZDA3 and CX-30]: After using hazard warning lights for approx. 15 minutes. - Specific Operation 3 [MAZDA3, CX-30 and MX-30]: When both touch sensors are touched at once. - Specific Operation 1 and 2 Cause: The touch sensor has been disabled to avoid the unintended locking/unlocking operation caused by rain. - Specific Operation 3 Cause: The control logic is not appropriate. To correct this issue, the control software of the LF control unit (LFU) has been modified.
09-019-22a2022-12-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers may experience one or both of the following symptoms while locking and unlocking the doors works fine using the remote transmitter. - Symptom 1: The touch sensor of the front door outer handle does not lock the doors after rain and/or car washing, even though unlocking is possible. - Symptom 2: The touch sensor of the front door outer handle does not unlock the doors. - Cause 1 (for Symptom 1): Water may accumulate around the touch sensor in the outer handle, resulting in temporary lower sensitivity of the capacitive sensor. Also, if car wash foam gets inside the outer handle while washing the vehicle, the foam may disturb the touch sensor detection. Mazda is still working on a mass production change for this concern. - Cause 2 (for Symptom 2): Improper soldering in the production process may disturb the touch sensor detection. To eliminate this concern, the production process has been modified.
