Service bulletins for the 2020 Mazda Mazda3
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| SA-026-21 | 2021-04-26. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY. When the power windows are operated many times without being fully closed, small errors of the window position sensor may accumulate and cause improper operation of the jam-safe function. To reduce the risk of this occurrence, the AUTO function is disabled if the power window is operated 10 consecutive times without being fully closed (turning the ignition OFF and then ON does not reset the counting). If the power window is fully closed before the 10th time, the counting restarts and the AUTO function is not deactivated. |
| 09-007-21-3751 | 2021-04-26. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. Some vehicles may exhibit that the glass run channel of the front door interferes with the rear door garnish. Since the front door glass run channel is not fixed to the door strongly enough for the following situations, cycles of door operation may result in interference and lead to damage on the seal rubber at the rear door. When the front door glass is closed, the glass run channel may be forced to move to the B pillar side. In very hot climates, the glass run channel may expand to the B pillar side. |
| 15-001-21-3795 | 2021-04-26. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. Some customers may notice an unexpected collision warning or automatic braking while reversing. This concern may be due to the parking assist unit software. The Smart Brake Support (SBS-R) system may be detecting an unintended obstruction at the lower rear end of the vehicle. To eliminate this concern, the parking assist unit control software has been modified. |
| 01-011-21-3800 | 2021-04-26. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some customers may experience the CHECK ENGINE light ON with DTC P0126:00 (Thermostat stuck open) and one or more of the following symptoms: The engine takes longer to warm up, The engine temperature gauge fluctuates, The low coolant temperature indicator (blue) light stays on longer or comes on while driving, Poor heater performance, especially at idle. NOTE: Vehicles with SKYACTIV-G 2.5T are not applicable. Due to production variety of the failsafe thermostat integrated in the coolant control valve, engine coolant may enter into a dry hollow in the failsafe thermostat, resulting in unintended opening of the failsafe thermostat at lower temperatures (104-176 °F (40-80 °C)). To eliminate this concern, the production process of the coolant control valve has been modified. |
| 01-009-21-3799 | 2021-04-26. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. Some vehicles may exhibit that the active air shutter is working, but DTC P05A0:00 (Active air shutter: Opening angle abnormality (sticking)) is stored in memory. This is caused by improper control software of the PCM detecting the DTC immediately without performing the failsafe operation. When the active air shutter detects unusual torque, it is designed to repeat the open/close cycles up to three times as a failsafe to try to remove the objects which temporarily disturbed the movement. To correct this concern, the control software of the PCM has been modified. |
