| SA-061-25 | 2026-01-04. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. If you encounter any type of electrical concern (e.g, dead battery, engine no start, DTC(s) stored...), interview the customer before proceeding with normal MGSS diagnosis by asking if any aftermarket devices have been installed. Aftermarket devices may be the cause of the electrical concern. Below are a few examples of unusual electrical concerns caused by aftermarket devices. |
| SA-023-25c | 2026-01-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE; EXTERIOR LIGHTING; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers may complain about any of the following: 1. Infotainment Center Display does not provide the Authorization Code (OTP) during the MyMazda App Connected Vehicle enrollment. 2. Remote function(s) inoperative. Engine Start / Stop • Door Lock / Unlock • Lights ON / OFF • Climate Control • 3. MAZDA CONNECT connected vehicle reception strength icon shows "X" or " ". Page |
| SA-060-25 | 2026-01-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some customers may experience a message "TCU Malfunction. Have the Vehicle Inspected" in the instrument cluster. The following DTC's may be stored: B1252:87-8B:TCU - COMMUNICATION ERROR WITH CONNECTIVITY MASTER UNIT (CMU) • U0198:00-03:CMU - COMMUNICATION ERROR WITH EMERGENCY CALL UNIT/TELEMATICS COMMUNICATION UNIT |
| SA-059-25 | 2026-01-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM. Some vehicles may experience the CHECK ENGINE light ON with one of the following DTCs or a combination of these DTCs. P0451 • P2422 • P2451 • P0441 • This may be caused by a concern with the fuel pressure sensor or shutter valve operation. |
| SA-058-25 | 2026-01-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE; POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. The 7G large platform utilizes a new 8-speed automatic transmission. Due to changes in the parking lock mechanism, which is now hydraulically operated, the neutral range in the transmission can only be achieved if the engine is running (or “Ready-On” for PHEV). With this design, there is no provision to manually engage neutral. This can cause challenges to dealers, customers, or towing providers when a vehicle cannot start and can't move, usually due to a discharged (dead) battery. In the event that a vehicle cannot be started or achieve “ready-on”, wheel dollies must be used to allow the vehicle to be rolled and moved. NOTE: The following procedure is for moving vehicle around the service shop and not for towing purposes. Please reference the owner's manual for towing instructions. |
| SA-057-25 | 2026-01-03. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; SERVICE BRAKES. A technician may report that DTC U0415:68 - VCM (Vehicle Control Module) cannot be cleared after replacing the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) module. |
| SA-017-25d | 2026-01-03. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Mazda Connect Services - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) |
| 09-045-25 | 2026-01-03. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers may experience that the fuel lid and charge lid do not lock or unlock during door lock/unlock operation. This is caused by: Improper dimensional accuracy of the lid actuator lock mechanism Incomplete control logic in the R-ESU software To eliminate this concern: The mold design of the lid actuator was modified. The control software of the R-ESU was revised. |
| SA-056-25 | 2025-12-05. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. When inspected, the differential or PTO oil is dark or black. This is considered normal and NO repair should be performed. During production, differential ring and pinion gears receive a manganese phosphate coating (commonly referred to as black oxide). This coating forms a porous, oil-retentive surface that improves boundary lubrication and reduces adhesive wear during initial contact cycles. Designed as a sacrificial layer, it is gradually removed under load throughout the break-in process. As a result, after the first few hundred miles, or at the initial gear oil service interval, the lubricant may appear darkened by the worn-off coating. It will contain trace ferrous particles from the normal run-in of the gear teeth and bearing surfaces. This condition is expected and does not, by itself, indicate an issue with the differential or PTO gears. |
| SA-055-25 | 2025-12-05. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES. Some vehicles exhibit brake related concerns such as brake noise, brake judder or brake dragging. If you encounter a customer complaint for any one of these symptoms, refer to the following information to understand why symptoms may occur, and to better assist the customer in resolving their specific brake concern. NOTE: Before following this Service Alert repair procedure, ensure published TSBs in MGSS have been completed per model year. |
| SA-053-25 | 2025-12-05. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. This Service Alert provides additional guidance about operation and procedure of the Driver Personalization System from the start of driver recognition to the end of the driving position restoration. OUTLINE OF PROCEDURE TIMING. Timing (start/completion/discontinuing) of driver recognition and a driving position restoration: |
| SA-052-25 | 2025-12-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE; POWER TRAIN. Some customer's might state that they notice fluid or oil leaking/dripping on the ground when the vehicle is parked. For this concern, inspect the vehicle for any trace of a fluid or oil leak and use the following examples as a guide to determine if it is severe enough to require a repair, or just to clean the area and monitor it at the next service. Examples of residue or seepage that may not be considered a leak and that may not require repair based on splash shield inspection. |
| SA-051-25 | 2025-12-05. Service bulletin. STEERING; SUSPENSION; POWER TRAIN; WHEELS. Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) Diagnostic Guidelines Diagnostic Guidelines When diagnosing NVH concerns, it is essential to first classify the issue into one of three primary categories: Noise, Vibration, or Harshness. Many customer complaints may involve overlapping symptoms, such as both noise and vibration, so identifying the dominant characteristic is critical. Once the primary symptom is determined, follow the appropriate diagnostic path. For example, if a concern includes both noise and vibration but is related to vehicle speed, the vibration diagnostic path should be followed. When considering component replacement during the diagnostic process, it is best practice to start with the lowest cost or most accessible part unless diagnostic evidence clearly identifies a more expensive or complex component as the root cause. This approach helps minimize repair costs and avoids unnecessary part replacements. For example, a growling or bearing whine noise may be mistakenly attributed to internal components in the differential, transfer unit, or transmission, when the actual source is a wheel bearing. Misdiagnosis like this can lead to unnecessary repairs, added time and cost. To help prevent this, always follow the guidelines in the repair procedure. |
| SA-054-25 | 2025-12-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. HIGH-VOLTAGE FUSE INSPECTION (INTERNAL TO PHEV BATTERY). No inspection procedure is provided in the WSM for the high-voltage fuses located inside the high-voltage battery. |
| SA-040-25a | 2025-12-05. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN. A New Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF-A7) is being used for some 2023-2026 models. ATF-A7 is an extremely low viscosity formulation with low friction to achieve best-in-class fuel economy and driving performance. For easy identification, ATF-A7 is colored Red and ATF-FZ is colored Blue. ATF-A7 includes UV-reactive dye (see "Fluorescence Example" below). There is NO interchangeability between ATF-A7 and ATF-FZ. For CX-30, Mazda3, and CX-5, some 2.5L and all 2.5T engines still use ATF-FZ. Verify the type of ATF according to what is in MGSS (TRANSMISSION/TRANSAXLE TECHNICAL DATA) or what is marked on the dipstick (see "ATF-A7 Identification" below). |
| SA-020-25a | 2025-12-05. Service bulletin. WHEELS. There have been warranty claims submitted for growling or bearing whine noise in differentials, transfer units and transmissions where the source of the noise was a wheel bearing. This misdiagnosis can lead to multiple repair attempts, warranty debits, and additional inconvenience and/or cost to the customer. To reduce the chance of this occurring, please follow the steps outlined in the repair procedure. |
| 07-002-25a | 2025-12-04. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some customers may complain that the A/C is not cold enough. Upon inspection, a refrigerant leak (1) from the A/C hose (LO) (2) is confirmed. This may be caused by foreign material present on the block side at the A/C hose (LO) connection point. To eliminate this concern, an inspection process for foreign materials was added to the parts manufacturing process as a temporary measure. A permanent measure is under study. |
| 01-007-25 | 2025-12-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Some vehicles may exihibit a vibration in the accelerator pedal and steering wheel when accelerating during a sharp left-hand turn. An abnormal noise may also be heard from the footwell area. This may be caused by insufficient clearance between the engine mount stopper rubber and the engine mount bracket.
