| 09-024-26 | 2026-09-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY. DESCRIPTION Some vehicles may exhibit a condition in which a warning buzzer (error sound) is heard, and the power liftgate (PLG) does not open or close automatically. When these symptoms happen, DTCs B144F:11 or B144F:13 may be stored. B144F:11 Power liftgate (PLG) drive unit motor circuit malfunction B144F:13 Power liftgate (PLG) drive unit motor circuit malfunction NOTE: The liftgate can be opened or closed manually, though effort may be higher without the motor assist. Due to improper assembly of the brush spring within the PLG unit motor, the contact pressure of the brush decreases, resulting in poor continuity. As a result, sufficient current may not be supplied to the motor. The manufacturing process has been improved to ensure proper positioning of the spring during assembly. REPAIR PROCEDURE Replace the power liftgate drive unit according to the instructions on MGSS POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) DRIVE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION. |

| SA-021-26 | 2026-05-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY. This Service Alert supersedes the previously issued SAs and bulletin(s) listed below: The changes are noted below in red. SA-010/23 02/09/23 DESCRIPTION Some customers may experience one or more electrical malfunctions after a vehicle body repair. A newly painted fender stay (2) may be causing a poor front harness (1) ground connection. The front fender stay (2) newly painted surface at ground point (3), where attachment bolt (4) is seated, may create a poor front harness ground connection. NOTE: DO NOT paint ground point (3) attachment bolt (4) is seated. NEWLY INSTALLED FRONT FENDER STAY NOTE: CAUTION: If the bolt (4) contact area (3) is painted when the front fender stay (2) is newly replaced, it could cause a malfunction in the PCM. Before painting a newly replaced part, protect the bolt (4) contact area (3) with masking tape (5) as shown in the figure. |
| SA-039/25 | 2025-09-05. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some vehicles may experience exterior trim heat damage such (melted, separating, etc.) when parked near a glass building or Low-E windows. This may be caused by the sun's reflection. If a structure's windows create enough of a curve, the concave glass can focus the sun's rays onto a small area and acting like magnifiying glass direct the sunbeams into a hot pinpoint of light. This magnifcation of the sun's rays can cause damage to vehicle trim (see examples). Additional information and exemplar images regarding this phenomenon can be found by performing a google search. |
| 09-046-24 | 2024-11-03. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some vehicles may experience stains appearing on the hood, roof and/or trunk of the vehicle. This concern is most likely to be found in a cold weather areas just after the RAPGARD is removed at PDI. This may be caused by moisture which has been trapped and condensed between the paint and the RAPGARD. These types of stains can be removed with a heat gun or an infrared drier. If you encounter this concern during PDI, use a heat gun or an infrared drier to apply heat to the affected area to remove the stain(s). |
| 09-022-24b | 2024-11-03. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers may complain that the power liftgate (PLG) may open unintentionally while the vehicle is parked or stopped. Due to the shape of the 7th generation remote transmitter, the power liftgate button may be long pressed unintentionally in a pocket or a bag. To eliminate this concern, the keyless control specification has been modified. The button press time has been increased from 0.5 seconds to 1 second. |
| SA-058-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some vehicles may experience exterior trim heat damage such (melted, separating, etc.) when parked near a glass building or Low-E windows. This may be caused by the sun's reflection. |
| SA-056-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY. Interior parts made of resin have antistatic coating to prevent dust from sticking on the surfaces, and depending on the conditions of use, the antistatic components may crystallize slightly, giving an appearance of white stains on the surface. To remove the stains, wipe the stained surface with a towel soaked with water mixed with a small portion of a neutral detergent. If the white stains reappear again, simply wipe them again in the same way. |
| SA-050-24 | 2024-09-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. Some customers may complain that their liftgate does not open. If you confirm that the customer's concern is that the liftgate does not unlatch correctly, follow the repair information below. |
| 09-022-24a | 2024-08-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY. |
| SA-036-24 | 2024-06-04. Other. STRUCTURE:BODY. Some customers may complain about color discrepancies (brightness differences) of the image displayed on the screen when using the 360°view monitor. As this phenomenon is not a system failure, do not make any repairs or replace any parts. Explain the cause of this occurrence to the customer as follows: The 360°view monitor is a system that provides a complete picture of the vehicle surroundings by combining the pictures captured by 4 separate cameras. These cameras are installed in the front, rear, right and left sides of the vehicle. Each camera has a color adjustment function (white balance) that operates independently from each other, which can result in color discrepancy when the combined picture is displayed on the screen. This is especially true when one of the cameras captures more green objects than the remaining cameras. |
| 09-006-24 | 2024-03-06. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE; LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES. Some vehicles may exhibit a creaking or clacking noise when operating the power lift gate (PLG). The noise may be caused by the following: Creaking noise: Dust and dirt accumulates on the sealing portion of the PLG drive unit, reducing sealing performance. Snow and water may enter the PLG drive unit. Humidity then causes rust inside of the unit, resulting in noise. Clacking noise: Since the grease applied on the spring end of the PLG drive unit is insufficient, interference noise is caused when the spring end interferes with the spring guide. The noise has been eliminated by the following mass-production changes: Creaking noise: The sealing structure has been modified to prevent dust/dirt from entering the unit. Clacking noise: The production procedure of the PLG drive unit has been modified to apply sufficient grease to spring end. |
| SA-082-23 | 2024-01-06. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE; STEERING. Before judging a steering wheel as having premature wear or a defect, first clean the steering wheel as explained in the repair information. Some vehicles may have steering wheel stains caused by chemicals such as hand lotions. |
