Service bulletins for the 2020 Mazda CX-5
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 15-001/22 | 2022-02-04. Service bulletin. LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION; LANE DEPARTURE; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. Some vehicles equipped with Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) may experience a BSM indicator light on the outer door mirror, even if there is no vehicle in the alert (blind spot) area. NOTE: This concern occurs only after a cold start. As the BSM control module temperature rises, the BSM system returns to normal operation. Due to BSM control module production variances, a false detection may occur in some units when the BSM temperature in the control module has not yet reached normal operating temperature. To eliminate this concern, the control logic of the BSM control module has been modified. |
