Service bulletins for the 2017 Mazda CX-5

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

The current installation instructions suggest that the installer close the door firmly with a light slam when installing the magnet, other wise the magnet will end up in an incorrect location. To make sure the magnet location is correct during installation, a new paper template has been developed.
