Service bulletins for the 2017 Mazda CX-3

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Bulletins, newest first
09-029-19-35942019-08-02. Service bulletin. SEATS. Some customers may notice that the driver's seat gradually moves downward by itself and needs to be re-adjusted after 3 or 4 days of driving. This concern may be caused when a load, which is applied to the seat during braking, exceeds a specified level and may impact the retaining mechanism of the seat lifter and cause the seat to move downward. To eliminate this concern, the rigidity of the retaining mechanism of the seat lifter has been increased.

The concern will likely occur if the fuel tank is overfilled (more fuel is added after the fuel pump nozzle shuts off automatically) or filled up normally in high ambient temperatures and the fuel expands.
