The rear brake modulators may have unprotected electrical connectors that can short circuit and lead to a loss of the anti-lock brake system (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC). As a result, the center roof marker light(s) may not work. Safety Risk: A roof marker light that doesn't work could make the truck less visible to others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the center roof marker light(s). |

| 2026204 | 2026-04-23. Brakes. Issue: On certain trucks, the connector(s) for the rear brake modulator(s) may not have proper wiring protection. As a result, the rear brake modulator(s) could short circuit and cause a loss of antilock braking system (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC). Safety Risk: A loss of ABS and ESC could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear brake modulator(s). The dealer will also install a cover on the connector(s). |
| 2026154 | 2026-04-01. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain trucks, a software problem could cause the trailer turn signal lights not to work when towing. Note: This problem would cause an error message to display on the instrument panel. Safety Risk: Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mack advises you to test the trailer turn signals before driving, until the recall repairs are completed. Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the vehicle software. |
