What is wrong

Issue:

On certain trucks, a software problem could cause the trailer turn signal lights not to work when towing.

Note: This problem would cause an error message to display on the instrument panel.

Safety Risk:

Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:

To reduce the safety risk, Mack advises you to test the trailer turn signals before driving, until the recall repairs are completed. Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the vehicle software.
