ON SOME HEAVY DUTY CLASS 8 VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH ARVINMERITOR AXLE ASSEMBLIES WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED WITH TRW MODEL 20EDL BALL SOCKETS, THE TIE ROD BALL-SOCKET BEARINGS HAVE A BELOW SPECIFICATION CASE DEPTH AND/OR HARDNESS WHICH CAN LEAD TO PREMATURE WEAR OUT OF THE SOCKET IN SOME APPLICATIONS. Built 1999-06-14 to 2000-10-31.

20021322002-07-22. Steering. Certain heavy-duty trucks equipped with TRW 20-EDL Ball Sockets were manufactured with a case depth and/or hardness that were below specifications. A bearing that is below specification may prematurely wear-out the ball socket, which, in turn, may lead to a separation of the tie rod. Correction: Dealers will replace the tie rods.
20020592002-03-26. Steering. Certain heavy-duty trucks equipped with TRW tie rod ends on certain Meritor axles. The tie rod and drag link ball stud ends contain bearings that are below the specified case depth and/or hardness. This can lead to premature wear with possible separation of the ball stud from the socket, increasing the risk of loss of control of the vehicle. Correction: Dealers will remove and replace all affected tie rods and drag links with different designed ends. Trucks that have been repaired under recall 00v246103/SC0262 will not be re-recalled. Trucks only inspected and determined to have an acceptable date code under SC0262 will be recalled under this campaign.
20020342002-02-27. Steering. Certain heavy-duty trucks equipped with drag link assemblies containing 24-DL model ball sockets and manufactured by TRW. Certain of the tie rod ball-socket bearings have a below-specification case depth and/or hardness, which can lead to premature wear of the socket. If this condition occurs, the driver can lose partial control of the right front wheel, possibly resulting in a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective drag links.
20002642000-11-14. Steering. On certain vehicles, the TRW tie rod ball stud ends contain bearings that are below the specified case depth and/or hardness. This can lead to premature wear out and a possible separation of the ball stud from the socket and loss of steering control. Correction: All affected tie rods will be replaced.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
